Fazio had easily my favorite yellow of the season. No one can fuck with Hugo. Anybody with the ability to .gif that? (I'm a technological dummy.)

yes, "WE" , not Burnely vs Paulinho. Or are you saying that if Paulo plays , he makes 10 of our player shit ?
not debating or saying that he is class, just that maybe he should get his chance
He doesn't improve the team - our worst performances are when he starts. He started last night, and he's had so many chances. If you think he's got a future in our team, then fine, I respect your opinion, but I've seen enough. I wince whenever his name is mentioned in connection with the 1st team - I'm sorry, I can't help it.

These 3 points on Saturday would be MASSIVE.

It's Southampton v. United, meaning we stand a good chance of climbing to 4th this coming weekend. Also, Stoke love to troll Woolwich, so maybe they could do us a solid?

This is an extremely young team. It is instituting a system that probably will take a full year to get down. We are going to be inconsistent. For every Chel53a, there are going to be a couple of Palaces. I personally think that is okay. As time goes on there will be more Chel53as and fewer Palaces. I am going to take a wider angle view all season and enjoy the growth.

Andros for Capoue surely. With andros obviously playing wide right. Just cant understand why the guardian has put that up. Andros isnt injured is he?

Need to bear in mind most people in football have one team they're interested in and know nothing else. Commentators call Paulinho a defensive midfielder, then say he's great at long range shots. Lawro thinks we'll lose every game because he doesn't even watch us and just faps over Liverpool. Merson just melts all the time and hates us.

So, it's not really that surprising. Football must be the most lazy, unprofessional industry going, especially football pundits and journalists. All you need to do is speak some shit, say someone missed a sitter and "Should have done better" and you're on 50k a week on MOTD.

A load more melting going on here. 7 games in 22 days. Second loss in 10 matches. It's all going to fucking pot isn't it lads??? Maybe we should have thrown the towel in on the league cup, Europa & FA cup & gone balls deep for 4th eh? We looked tired in the second half tonight but ffs it's not like we are hovering in the relegation zone & out of all cups.

Who cares about multis or profiles? The content of a post is either interesting and worth the time spent on the Internet or it isn't. I don't care that much who the poster is. These witch hunts are so lame.

Crystal Palace host Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park on Saturday 10th January 2015 (KO 17:30) in the 21st round of matches of the 2014-15 Premier League season.

Palace come into the game in 18th place on 17 points with Spurs in 5th place on 34 points. This will be the 95th time the clubs have played each other.

Crystal Palace were founded in 1905 by the builders of the Crystal Palace (hence The Glaziers nickname) and played their first matches at the old Cup Final ground. They joined the Southern League Second Division for season 1905-06 and won promotion at the first attempt.

The first meeting between the two clubs came in the Southern League First Division in October 1906 with Spurs winning 3-0 at White Hart Lane and going on to do the double with a 1-0 away win in February 1907.

The 1907-08 season was the last for Tottenham in the Southern League and the two games against Palace ended with a win each. The clubs also played in the Western League that season with a win for both teams.

Spurs & Palace were regular opponents during the First World War and Tottenham enjoyed a run of nine consecutive wins against Palace during this period.

The first competitive game after WW1 came in the 1st Round (modern 3rd Round) of the FA Cup in January 1924 at The Nest in Croydon with Palace winning 2-0. They had previously played their games Herne Hill, Norwood and moved into their purpose-built stadium at Selhurst Park later in 1924.

Tottenham and Palace played several matches during World War Two with honours generally being fairly even.

Crystal Palace played their first season in the Top Flight of English Football in the 1969-70 season with Spurs winning both First Division matches 2-0. Jimmy Pearce and Martin Chivers got the goals at Selhurst Park while Alan Mullery and Steve Perryman were the scorers at White Hart Lane.

The clubs were also drawn together in the 4th Round of the 1969-70 FA Cup with Palace progressing after a 1-0 win in the replayed match in South London after the first game was goalless at the Lane.

Palace remained in the First Division for a further three seasons with Spurs winning four of the six matches and drawing the other two.

The clubs met in Division Two in 1977-78 with Spurs winning 2-1 at Selhurst Park (Ian Moores & John Duncan) and Palace getting a 2-2 draw at the Lane with Glenn Hoddle scoring a brace for Spurs. Tottenham won promotion at the end of that season. Crystal Palace were back in the First Division for season 1979-80 and both matches against Tottenham were drawn.

The first Football League Cup game came in September 1980 with a 0-0 3rd Round draw at White Hart Lane followed by a 3-0 win at Selhurst Park in the replay with Ricky Villa, Glenn Hoddle and Garth Crooks all scoring.

The Eagles were founder members of the Premier League in 1992-93 but only lasted a season before being relegated. They returned for the 1994-95 season but fared no better and were again relegated. Their third season came in 1997-98 but failed to establish themselves and were relegated.
Palace were back again for the 2004-05 season but once again dropped down to the Championship.

The game at Selhurst Park in August 2013 was settled by a 50th minute Roberto Soldado penalty after Dean Moxey handled Aaron Lennon's cross. Spurs completed the Double over Palace with a 2-0 win at the Lane in January 2014 with goals from Christian Eriksen and Jermain Defoe.

Crystal Palace were unlucky not to win at White Hart Lane in the December 2014 Premier League game which finished in a goalless draw.

The eleven Premier League matches played between the two clubs resulted in four wins to Spurs and two to Palace with five games drawn.

Overall, Tottenham have won 42 of the 94 matches played so far with Crystal Palace winning 25 games and the remaining 27 drawn.

Difficult with Bentaleb/Mason out.. Might be a good idea like JDK JDK suggests to play Eriksen deeper. I would like to start like this though:
[formation=4231, Lloris, Walker, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies, Dembele, Stambouli, Townsend, Eriksen, Chadli, Kane][/formation]

Ok, could of gone either way ! Not questioning the result, although that was NEVER a pen. I'm fucking livid about that Fucking Woolwich Wanderer Cunt Quinn. That has to be the most Blatently biased commentry I have ever witnessed. Sky need to look at that.
Absolute fuckin disgrace.

Not getting top 4 ,so don't get your hopes high. We will be back in the champions league while your shit team tries every year to get into it but fails to do so. You will always be in arsenals shadow even though they are shit this year themselves.

I just love Manure fans from anywhere other than Manchester.. You won't be in the top 4 despite spending billions on shit..
Speaking of being in other clubs shadows.. How's the real team in Manchester getting on lately..:goonermong:

I don't think so, I think we controlled the game in the first half and Palace were chasing shadows for the most part with 10 men behind the ball crowding us out. We deserved the lead when we got it but Palace got the penalty which changed the game. After that we camped on the edge of the Palace box for a while but Palace were confident now and pushed us back.

Palace had a couple of chances, sure, but that bullshit penalty thanks to a despicable dive changed the course of the game. Without that pen we win the game.

Sure we didn't play great, but we weren't shit either.

Much as the media and 'modern football' doesn't want you or any of us to say it... for fear of glorifying hooliganism... but genuinely fearing for your safety within the ground, and not making it back to the station in one piece is what (used to) create an 'intimidating' atmosphere at games... not flags, or, dare I say, ticker-tape!!

The only thing that's intimidating at Palace is that Fucking Eagle they let loose just before kick off. It shits everywhere.
