Competition Hopes for the 2023/24 season? 🤔

I feel a bit flat but shouldn't do given the improvement. From where we were to where we are now whildt factoring in rhe loss of kane and looking back at what peopkes expectations and hopes where we've pretty much achieved all of that. We looked so good at the start of the season and that raised...

    Quiz time...

14 also. These ones I couldn't get and when I saw the answers not sure I would if I'd have had another 10 mins! 1993-94 2007-08 2020-21

History Odd request - I'm after a specific incident

To be fair, Lamella on Van Djik instantly sprang to my mind! Pretty funny when it goes for u. Awful when it goes against u. Swings and roundabouts tho.

Club Come here to laugh at Dippers

Tierney is the ref that Klopp as good as called corrupt a while back. One of many but he had a particular issue with Tierney. You do wonder the effect this then has due to the extra pressure and scrutiny that comments like that bring. Klopp is not daft he knows what he's going when he makes...

    Competition The Race For 7th

Agree. Hard enough place to go at the best of times. But the victims will be frothing at the mouth after the game at WHL. They'll be outraged at every decision that goes in our favour and it will all be orchestrated by that gobshite on the touchline. It will be an absolute cauldron of hate and...

    Competition The Race For 7th

Absolutely. As i said, got to win the games that on paper we should be doing. Then go into the matches against city and dippers with a nothing to lose mentality. Big ask though isn't it to beat city then go to anfield and get 3 points. Notice how I'm not even including Woolwich in the...

    Competition The Race For 7th

Its not like they havent had players out though. Dippers have had quite a few out for decent periods here and there. City obviously have had de bruyne missing for a large chunk then haaland for 6 weeks or so. They've both got the squads to cope a bit better. I'm perhaps underestimating the...

    Competition The Race For 7th

At that rate dippers and city would be another 4 or 5 points better off on us than they are already. We didn't deserve to beat Everton IMO as we didn't play well enough, as frustrating as it was to concede a stoppage time equaliser, not to mention the obstruction on Vicario. There have been...

    Competition The Race For 7th

Their squads are so strong though, citys in particular, and they can just plough on regarless. City have this knack of coasting til about now and then just becoming a machine. Take your point though. If they were to lose de Bruyne/ foden and Rodri then who knows. Wishful thinking though.

    Competition The Race For 7th

We're just that bit too far behind to mount a realistic challenge i think. We've not been playing well lately. How much of that is down to us not being quite at it and how much of it is down to teams adapting to deal with us I'm not sure. I'm hoping though now everyone is back from international...

    Management Ange Postecoglou

Yeah they're the two games that really stick in my craw. Played well and should have won both comfortably which would have put us a point off Liverpool and 10 clear of Villa. How we contrived to lose both ive no idea. Always ifs buts and maybes though isn't it and there have been games weve not...
  12. The Seldom Seen Yid

    Player Pape Sarr

How on earth did he initially give that the other way?! He cleaned him out that much he virtually did a somersault. Made some other bad decisions throughout as well. Sarr has been very good. Ivory Coast have been all over them but he's keeping Senegal going. Want him to win it but at the same...

    Match FA Cup 4th Round - Man City [H] - Friday 26 Jan 20:00

No Son was always going to be a killer for us tonight. As soon as the draw was made my heart sank. Added to that no Sarr, no Bissouma and no Madisson (glad he got some minutes in his legs but he was anonymous and I genuinely can't even remeber him touching the ball). Under normal circumstances...

Video Made me laugh (Football Edition)

How have I never seen this before. That is absolutely hilarious. What the hell. That attempted finish at the end capped it off perfectly.

How did Antonio Conte get on at right back for Guinea? :conterubhands:

    Player Yves Bissouma

Think I could scare a worldie freekick against some of these keepers to be fair. And I've a chronic case of gout.

    Player Guglielmo Vicario

I love that about him. He's a class act. Stays calm and maintains his composure on the touchline and never ever looks to blame refereeing decisions, injuries, suspensions etc. Compare that to Klopp and his antics on the sidelines and his dreadful behaviour and attitude towards officials.

Club Come here to laugh at the Fascist, Failing Chavs

Just watched motd. How was that tackle by Gusto on Willian not a red card based on others that have been given this season?!
