I can only assume we have different approaches to the definitions of "facts and stats".

The problem w/ the last year comparison...

Ade has 11% of his production from last year

One of the the best 2nd strikers in the biz, VDV, is long gone

One of the best box to box CM in the biz, Modric, is long gone

Bale is bagging goals at an impressive clip right now. Why change that and look to depend on Ade and Defoe who have a combined 2 goals over the last 4 months ?

Exactamundo. It would be barking madness.

The origional statement I disagreed with said Ade and Defoe dont play well and never have. That is not true.

Bale can still do a major job LW, and those are the only points I am making.

Its fucking Wigan away, and you are shitting your pants about going 442. Chill, its just hyperthetical.

You must really believe we are a one man team.

I'm not taking anybody lightly at this point, especially a team like Wigan who is in desperation mode w/ their relegation battle.

And One Man team ? no

One Man attack ? Probably

Lightly?

Dempsey, Defoe and Ade up front with Bale wide left?

And Parker, Dembele, Dawson, Vertonghen, Walker, BAE and Lloris behind them?

Or

Roll w/ Defoe in that perfect super sub role for his one moment of brilliance via his foot

Worked out pretty well on Sunday,no ?

Assuming Lennon can go...

.............................Lloris

Walker................Daws..............Vert.............BAE

.....................Huddlestone.................Dembele.....

Lennon......................Dempsey.................Siggy

.....................Bale

Are you really arguing with a proven formation when thats your alternative!?

:harrylol:

That is proven w/ the likes of Modric & a 17/11 Adebayor (vs a 3/0 Adebayor)

That is far from proven currently.

To be honest, I can't think of a proven formation that has consistently worked this year.

That starting 11 right there will give Spurs the best chances at scoring.

My firm prediction is that AVB will not start both Hudd and Holtby.

I have been wrong more than once in my life :) but to me it's way too high risk, I can't think of one top manager who would take such a risk in a vital game, double especially espresso if Lennon starts as well.
