Having spent nearly 2 months trying to get hold of a PS Portal and letting out a cheer when I finally got my order in yesterday, I feel like Dier going is more of a win.

I stuck this in an AI summariser so some bits are quite funny to read.

Dragusin's decision to join Tottenham came as a surprise, as there were reports suggesting he was leaning towards a move to Germany with Bayern Munich. The interest in Dragusin has been there for some time, with the team's executives reportedly watching him play for Genoa in Italy in December 2022. Dragusin was brought to Juventus from Mediaus RasenBallsport by Fabio Paratici in 2018, and although there was interest from other European clubs, Paratici took him in and made his debut for the team in the Champions League at the age of 19. Is he a loan?? I thought we are buying him!?

Other than that, this must be an early but serious contender to the longest-post-of-the-year-awards for 2024!

I congratulate you sir!

Possibly the best possible outcome for Dier. Don’t think many of us ever considered him ending up there.

Fair does to him, he had his weaknesses and the current style of play passed him by but he was a good lad nonetheless. Maybe shouldn’t have climbed the stands to punch on though.

This is a weird week.

🤣

Also as assertive and decisive as we've been, our rivals will have noted that we've added some depth and cover (at the least). I wonder if it will force their hands. Well, those that have money.

Levy after getting £100m for a player in their last year of their contract, signing the centre back Bayern wanted and selling them a mistake ridden centre half with 6 months left on their deal.. All whilst watching Ange transform the club.

Quite pleased for Dier, joining one of the largest clubs in the world. Good chance at getting a winners medal or 2 now, and linking back up with his buddy harry.
Lengthy servant for us, and a big part of our title push the year Leicester won it. Only Davies and Son remain from that bunch

You clearly do not understand finance.
You're speaking to a chartered accountant.

Swiss Ramble even did an expose on the EPL during covid, admittedly this graph is now 3 years old, but we haven't withdrawn cash in that time either.

See us there with (0). That means that since we sacked 'Arry we have seen 0 pounds put into the club by owner Joe Lewis. But unlike the Glazers who take money out as the graph shows, our owners have also not done that either. So our unspent profit sits in the club accounts, which as of 2022 report was 283m pounds.

I have approached this debate with respect and civility and you're throwing around the idiot insult, earlier on it was fathead. A bit unnecessary.

FWIW you started by complaining about the non-football activities like concerts, go karts and NFL. These all contribute revenue to the accounts of THFC, not ENIC International or its parent company Tavistock group. Revenue that our accounts categorically can prove are not used to fund ENIC's real estate endeavours you speak of. Or any other of Joe Lewis' ventures.

They sit in the club accounts as unused funds, probably why unlike other clubs we aren't skimping this window worried about FFP issues.
