Being that the guy is still only 24, he still has time to mature, however unlikely that may be.

Front 3 of Sturridge Balotelli Sterling looks decent.

Wouldnt want to be the guy who has to keep him on the straight and narrow however.

Balottelli confirms Milan exit, Liverpool are a likely destination. I'm unsure if it's a good or bad signing.

Hard to say my feelings are bad, I am not sure he is a reformable character much like Suarez, it's a huge gamble thats for sure and unlike Saurez he is not really a number 10 but an out and out forward so he will be competing with Sturridge. Personally I prefer Sturridge as a footballer and as a person.

No doubt he will play a great season, then punch a ref and get sold to Byern Munich or Real Madrid for stupid money, feels like Saurez again only without as much talent. What a gamble.

surely Balotelli will think that Brendan Rodgers is such a fanny.
He likes fannys though.

You'd think they would have learned from having an idiot that the media follow everywhere, their club has been dragged through the mud beyond repair from the last Twat and now they are signing this Gump..
Everyone will be waiting for his every mistake..

On a footballing note, Suarez was always willing to work out on the wings to allow Sturridge to operate in the centre, Suarez would always feed Sturidge if it was the better option.. Balotelli will do neither.
Won't work...

Shhhhhhhh the dippers will hear you and change their mind!

Man city paid 24 million for him.
sold him to the club he supported for 20.
who have accepted a bid of 16, 2 years later. In a world in which Shane Long is a 12 million player.
balotelli is talented, no doubt.
but any player whose value goes down by 8 million between age 20 and 24, without a major injury concern, must be causing some proper shite behind the scenes. Its a helluva a risk.

It's because his wages a very high - about £200k per week

So all in all this transfer will be costing them well over £50m

Was just going to say that the scousers should have 'why always us?' Stitched into their shirts along with the black armband. Completely overhyped player, seeing people who apparently hate Adebayor for his apparent actions/disruption then bemoan us not signing Balotelli on here and on other social media are astounding.

even so, his transfer fee has dropped massively, by one third just as he should be starting to hit his straps and move into his peak period....I still have to ask why are Milan prepared to take a 4 million hit, when these days a shot on target in the right game seems to add a million to your transfer fee?

How much have they spent now?

£120m and they've brought in ~£65m so net transfer spend of £55m.

Rodgers better get top 4 because the amount of money he's spent and wages they've taken on means they have to get CL. Only 4 years ago they were on the verge of administration.

Assuming Citeh and Chelsea get CL, that only leaves 2 places. Now, all Woolwich, dippers and United have spent heavily. At least 1 is going to be very disappointed.

Rather have the option of Balotelli than Borini, at £16m it's a no-brainer really, he has agreed to half his current wages with incentive based bonuses linked to his behaviour and performance. One of the last holes plugged for us and plenty to look forward to this season.
