Let's all slow our roll until February. Right now he can only sign a bumper deal. He can sign a 5 year deal in 3 weeks. It's better for everyone to wait.
True. Only BUT is, he can't get a loan after jan if that was a desire

True - I think it's just bad timing for everyone, unfortunately. Keeping him with the U23s until July 1 won't be the worst thing. He will get Ireland call-ups, too. He needs to go out on loan for all of next year and likely the year after that as well. These 4 months really won't matter.True. Only BUT is, he can't get a loan after jan if that was a desire
Tanganga is playing.Mourinho's reputation predeceds him in regards to youth players. Players like Parrott chose to come to Tottenham because they felt they would be given chances. By hiring Mourinho the club has gone down a significantly different route in terms of footballing philosophy and youth development - it's no longer the same club he joined so no one can blame him or the likes of Skipp to be looking for a way out.
Tanganga is playing.
So Tanganga starts a couple of games and that nullifies 15+ years of having a poor history of player development?
Carlos Alberto
Dominic Solanke
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Andreas Christensen
Mario Ballotelli
Lassana Diarra
Mikel John Obi
Jesé
Raphael Varane
Álvaro Morata
Kurt Zouma
Scott McTominay
He obviously will only bring younger players in if they fit all the criteria for him. I don't know what those criteria are, but to say he has a poor history of player development isn't the full story.
He is obviously trying to change, check his demeanour for evidence. Let's give him a chance at least?

Greenwood has a bunch of appearances but has he started more than 1 or 2 games?Greenwood at United is 18 and seems to be given quite a lot of chances to impress. Age is not too important, it's more about an individual's mentality
Perfectly logical to give him some minutes off the bench and then loan him out next season once he has signed a long term deal.Should prove himself on loan somewhere that he deserves a chance, needs to do it at least to Championship standard.
Would be nuts to start him, has shown little to deserve it.
