He was showboating, not time wasting. Not sure how 2 seconds constitutes time wasting. Both are very annoying for the opposition but completely different. One is a legitimate part of the game, the other is punishable by a yellow card.

How many times must we see the goalscorer acting like he's just discovered a cure for cancer, a huge huddling hugathon over by the corner flag (or in the next postal code), with one or two clowns waving for the backs and the goalkeeper to stroll down the pitch and join in? And the subs flooding on to the field which is an outright violation of the laws . . . Book all the bastards and start sending them off before there's a pregnancy.
And don't get me started on the placement of the ball for corners. It should be OUT of the damn field of play which means inside the semicircle and not one centimeter over the line. There, glad I didn't have to comment on that.

The ball was in play.... It's our perogative to do whatever we like with it when it's in our possession..... Just like it is the oppo's to do something to get it back.
Ergo NOT time-wasting.
Completely different to:
- Taking a total of 8 minutes to take 11 goal kicks (which rules don't allow us to intervene in).
- Ditto; taking forever to take a throw in, FK etc.
- Ditto; rolling about on the floor pretending to be injured.
These things ARE time-wasting and potentially punishable by a yellow card.
If you can't comprehend this (depsite numerous explanations); then your grasp of the game is worryingly poor.

There is no click mate. Peoples kept going on about “oh what will it bel like when e hit op form”. That should have happened by Noel. It’s all well and gold saying we won handle whilst playing crap sign of a god time blah blah blah. Truth is good teams in them past have one or yelp random games where they play bad but win. On the whole they play to a decent level. We have pretty much played badly all season bar a few halves here and there and small spells in games. As been said often enough that is not sustainable. Play low block then we will on the whole look crap especially when we have to actually try and force a gane.

He came in after 10 games or so, so it was t as if he didn’t have enough games. We blew a number of chances to get 4th and I the relief on bar codes beating them. However remember villa first half where we should have been absolutely battered. Soton away v 10 men 2nd half shit show. Wolves, Brentford, Brighton , soton at home. We’re t exactly ripping them aoart. You seem to miss the point what many are making is that where is the progression, moving forward, integrating new players and some youth, style of play, etc. there is nothing. Increasingly we have a number of older players as well now.
