The defence are leaking goals. They make simple, basic errors. We always going behind and chasing games. Which of our defenders would be in any of the 1st team list. I can only think of

It does with us. Conté can even trust out defence to hold up play long enough for the rest of the team to fall back. Look at the goals that came against us, majority were as the result of us being more adventurous.

I watched both PEH and Bentancur in the WC. Given the go ahead to go forward they were both menacing. Bentancur showed signs of the Dembele days. Can't do it against clubs that plonk there stickers close to the halfway line and wait to counter with a ball over the midfield.

Most teams, even Woolwich have realised, to beat Spurs just soak up the pressure and wait for us to attack. When the opportunity arises, plonk the ball in the direction of Dier or any other CB. Put pressure and they will buckle.
