I love Son but stats just don't do Mane justice. He's an absolute demon, he can dominate a game practically on his own.
Son does a small number of things to world class level, Mane does everything to an extremely high level week in week out.
Klopp has to think a lot less about how he'll get the best out of Mane than Mou has to with Son,

If you haven't noticed, it's the Son & Kane show now - they really come in a pair and thrive only when the other performs well. Son is making Kane look like KDB and Kane is allowing Son look like a Manure Ronaldo. They're bringing out the best in one another.
Whatever Jose is doing it's working . This newfound form between Kane & Son is still in its early days and there's still more to prove for both of them but when the season is all said and done, I'm sure both will be seen as consensus top 10 players in the world and we won't be having this discussion. Both are getting better and more importantly, their chemistry as a pair is growing.

Mane plays for the EPL champions, Son plays for a side that hasn't won the league in his lifetime.

Well, 1 player a team does not make. In terms of goal contribution, I would rate as follows.
Son - Kane - Bergjwin (8 + 10 + 4 = 22)
vs
Mane - Firmino - Salah ( 7 + 6 + 7 = 20)
Son is less effective against teams defending very deep; has a ceiling of 8.
Introducing Bale gives us a potential 8 if he hits form.
Mane and Salah both have a ceiling of 9. Lack of defensive contribution means they can't hit Kane level epicness!

Mane doesn't dominate games on his own, he's quite reliant on Trent or Robertson sending in great crosses or through balls.
He misses a lot of chances which isn't noted because Liverpool's ridiculous intensity and style mean both Mane and Salah get tonnes of chances every game.

Mane has great defensive contribution, Salah is a complete lazy twat in defence though. He's also a selfish prick who always goes for glory, to the point of actual handbags in the dressing room.
Statistically Son and Mane are really close, if you had to pick one to put through on goal, it'd be Son 9/10 times, but still Mane has a little extra quality. He completely terrorised Wolves in the first half the other day.
He's so much more complete than Salah.
