It was never going to be an easy game, but 2-0 up we should be winning.

Eriksen was dreadful, worst I’ve seen him. Ndombele looks off it, but he has been injured. Back line looked shaky. Such a change from the weekend.

On the positive side, Winks was superb. Best player.

Move on to the weekend, we need a better performance and a better start.

It seems a bit obvious that we are becoming reliant on players playing out of their skin when the tactics don't work now. There's is no plan B. No shift in play or alternative option.

And relying on that will only get us so far.

If we'd been 0-2 down and fought back for a point we'd all be jizzin' in our panties.

Some people need to get a grip.

A good hard won point in Athens is a decent start to our campaign

Apparently, all you have to do to generate a match-winning atmosphere is whistle and jeer loudly for 90+ minutes.... like the Greeks did tonight!
BBC 5Live/Alan Green couldn't stop going on about it... they were so hoping for an Olympiacos win it was ridiculous...
a British Broadcaster, commentating on a BRITISH team, lauding the benefits of how a partizan home atmosphere somehow deserves a result... and then doing everything within their power to provide an un-Partizan commentary on their own country's club...

It's as ironic as it was annoying to listen to!

I had to listen to their commentary whilst driving home during the first half. Green is a biased prick and the BBC hate everyone apart from Liverpool and Man United.

Oh and Tories, they absolutely lurve those cunts.

:pochsmirk:

We really need a right back, and deary me Eriksen - he is prone to putting in some absolutely turgid dogshit performances every now and again, halfway through the second half he genuinely looked scared to receive the ball.

Jenas: "I bet Eriksen was hoping to come off, but now he can't." :avbshock:

Get Eriksen out of the club asap or just drop him to reserves. There's no point of playing him he's creating such negative vibes around the locker room and doesn't give a shit about the team
It's contractual...

Its been a long time since a game has pissed me off this much.

It's not the result though , it's yet another turgid pile of dross for a performance which seems to have become the norm
The palace game stands out like a sore thumb and I think that a damning indictment on this team over the last year or so

Flushes from Moura
Don't forget the goal from open play...when your creative midfielder (Eriksen) is creating absolutely nothing and actually losing possession it's rather difficult to convert that sort of supply into goals. Moura is just in a no win situation it would appear with the manager and many of the fans. I think we have a very special player in Lucas but if we don't give him sufficient match time we will never see him at his very best....he'll eventually leave, some other club will benefit and we shall live to regret it.

Like the Woolwich game, it always sucks blowing a 2-0 lead, but I won't lose any sleep over a draw here. Bayern is clear favourites to win the group now, but we should have the second spot in our hands quite comfortably.
