NFL tickets are expensive.

Went this year to Wembley. Seats were £80. Could have paid 3 or 4 times for better seats too.

Yeah I guess when you think about it Nfl's a niche in the market in London , I was paying a median of £50-60 for Spurs tickets but when you think about it there are probably 5 million PL tickets over a year available in London and probably less than300, 000 NFL tickets in the whole off the UK in a year , you can get away with charging what you like.

Brighton haven’thelped by winning today. Depending on who they get in 6th round our game on 6th April is now in danger...it’s semi final date.
I think they lose in the next round and that Brighton is our opening fixture in the new home because Crystal Palace wins and our March 16th gets moved to April.

Could have up to 7 matches in the new ground including the league and CL.

When do we think we can expect an announcement re the two test events? I think the March date is slipping away.

Getting a CL QF in there would be ecstasy

I think the first test event with circa 20,000 could be arranged at only a week or two notice - its not a major impact on transport etc and I'm pretty sure enough fans would easily be available.

The 2nd test event requiring circa 40,000 - 50,000 will require a lot of co-ordination with transport, police etc and more notice for fans as well, so lead times probably need to be 3 weeks minimum, 4 weeks would be better.

So holding these in March is still very much on - provided we announce them in say the next 2 weeks IMO.

It has more to do with the American culture of fans being docile supplicants to their teams, and the teams viewing their fans as faceless piggy banks. It's disgusting.

Spurs managed plenty of shots against Leicester, The Foxes, in their 3-1 victory last week, but it appears something a little darker is going on in North London.

A report from the Sun claims that Tottenham Hotspur officials at the new stadium site are luring foxes into cages before shooting them dead with a .22 pistol.

The officials have apparently killed at least 20 of the animals so far, after fears emerged that they may cause damage to the synthetic NFL pitch.

The Sun say that one insider told them a fox was left in its cage for five hours before being killed by a dozen bullets.

While killing foxes is not illegal in the UK, strict guidelines must be followed to stay on the right side of the law.

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation claim catching and shooting a fox is the most humane way of doing things.

Spurs say they took advice from specialists

,..................

This is all getting beyond ridiculous now. How are the foxes getting in. The old WHL never had this problem

Also for anyone who eats the burgers at the new stadium don't be surprised if some of them taste a bit weird. :levystare:

For fox sake what ever next?

2 a season for 10 years isnt it ? Meaning at least twenty games , 20 games with 60,0000 tickets per match equals 1.2 million tickets that can probably be flogged at £50 per ticket if appetite for NFL games at Wembley are anything to go by grossing £60 mil in tickets alone before you even they into catering and merch and that's a couple of matches a year , then when you factor in the brand exposure in America through NFL tie ups leading to more merchandise sold in America and greater brand value leading to much more Lucrative sponsorship deals , the cost of a couple of changing rooms will become a pittance after a couple of years this is huge business and that's without reaching the ultimate aim of a full-time NHL franchise based in London occupying the stadium.
We won't be earning off the tickets though they are renting the stadium are they not, ticket revenue will be nfls

Some much more positive news coming from the UK. We ran the full set of tests this week (something we failed to do two weeks ago) as expected they were not 100% however they were good enough for the Council's inspection team to agree to sign-off on the re-tests only, that's a huge step. It means that once all the re-tests are completed we will receive our certificates and be able to plan our test events. The number MACE was putting forward was 98%, gotta admit that I don't know how many tests there are but if we've only got 2% to go that can't be all that many.

All the emergency services attended NWHL last week, and all have signed off to the Council.

The 'feeling' and I stress it's no more than that, was that if we get past Dortmund we will play CL in NWHL this season ... still a lot to do before that can happen but from being on the floor two weeks ago the smiles were certainly back.

Believe it, don't believe it that's up to you ... but please no whinging ...
