I've been thinking this since my preseason top arrived and I clocked it had the crest in a shield on the sleeve. There didn't seem to be any reason for that to be there other than to make it clearly be from the 17/18 range of merchandise.

Interesting. I've not seen any of that stuff before either. The fact a lot of it is in the 3rd kit colours suggests that maybe that's the design they're pushing for merch in the second half of the season. Like how you can only get the preseason shirt in purple and yellow now. (I got my blue one off eBay.) My days, soon there will be a new colour scheme out every month!

That website is spot on every year.

Ref next years stripes, we didn’t mind the champions league kit with the stripes.....
Looking forward to it, not sure about the teal on the away/third

Not sure I'm following this post, could you clarify? You mean the yellow third kit with stripes from last season or the old puma kit with the slanted shoulder bit?

That puma kit is one of my favourites, and if next year's kit was closer to that I'd be excited....but any mention of the word gradient with regards to football kits gives me painful 90s flashbacks.

I dunno what it is, but I love this training top. Think bit is the 90s-ness of it.

i was referring to the puma kit that bale modric and vdv graced. Sorry, once my brain went down that road, it completely forgot about other possible kits
 
so: not only will the kits be dreadful: but everyone else will have them too.
ahhh well. at least Nike pay silly money. Cos Under Armour made better looking shirts, as a rule
 
Nike designing shirts that won’t sell well because us fans don’t like them......

Then we go and win the league next season in our new stadium and they will instantly sell out
