Because I'm double-hard.Dru said:Why would you do that to yourself?
I think we will be on the back foot a lot, trynig to hit them on the break. Its not the mentality of a title winning team but at the moment I just dont want to lose.
I will be doing something very similar but on the south coast.Thelonious said:I've taken the brave/stupid step to watch this at a pub, pub will be full of Scumchester United and C*nt fans. Could get messy!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-main-title-rivals-Manchester-United-are.htmlJoleon Lescott says Tottenham are not Manchester City's main title rivals, Manchester United are
Joleon Lescott insists Manchester City are more concerned about Manchester United than the burgeoning credentials of Tottenham Hotspur.
City face Spurs at the Etihad Stadium this weekend with Harry Redknapp’s side trailing the Premier League leaders by just five points and enjoying their best domestic campaign since the 1989-90 season, when they finished third.
Lescott’s comments will undoubtedly add an edge to the fixture and follow City manager Roberto Mancini’s rejection of claims, made by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, that Tottenham are playing the most entertaining football in the league.
Spurs have radically improved since their last meeting with City, when they were crushed 5-1 at White Hart Lane in August, but Lescott believes Redknapp’s team would struggle to keep pace with the Manchester clubs if they were beaten on Sunday.
“Beating them would open up a big gap between us and them,” said Lescott. “No disrespect to Spurs, but we see Manchester United as our main rivals because they’re second in the league. We need to focus on the next team behind us and at this moment in time that’s United. As much as the points are vital to create a gap between us and Spurs, it’s more important to pull away from United.”
Lescott has played down the Spurs threat rather than ruled out it out entirely, and still believes others will harbour ambitions of muscling their way into contention.
“I wouldn’t rule out Chelsea and Woolwich because of the experience they have in their squad,” said Lescott. “But on paper and points wise you’d probably say yes, it’s a three-horse race. Maybe the neutrals want Spurs to win it, rather than City or United, but we’re not getting involved in any of that. We’re just here to do a job and hopefully win the league.
“We just do our own thing. We’ve got the quality to win games and as long as we do that we can be champions. People say United have been there before but we’ve got the experience and the quality to win games. That’s the most important thing.”
City’s 1-0 win at Wigan eased the pressure on Mancini and his squad, which had built after a faltering run. City were knocked out of the FA Cup by United, lost the Carling Cup semi-final first leg to Liverpool and had taken just four points from a possible nine in their previous three league games.
But Lescott has dismissed suggestions the title tension is taking its toll. “We’ve read a lot about pressure, people have said we were cracking - stuff like that. But we haven’t mentioned any other teams this season, we’ve focused on ourselves,” he said.
“It was crazy. None of the boys even thought about us cracking up or that something was going wrong. All of a sudden it’s being said in papers or on TV that things are going wrong. We were like, ‘Wow, we must have arrived if people want us to fail’.
“We were thinking, ‘Hold on minute we’ve just lost two cup games’. Maybe it’s because at the start of the season we played so well, we won so many games. So when you don’t do that people are thinking why aren’t they playing like before.
“You can’t go through the season without having a dip in form, we’re aware of that, but the main thing is to pick up results when you’re not playing so well.
“There was a lot made of our recent results. The performances were good but you get judged on results. But those results, no disrespect, were in cup competitions. As much as we want to win those cup competitions, we want to win the league more.
“We’ve only lost two league games and we look at that more, not many have lost less than that. Our main goal this season has always been the league - and still is. It’s our bread and butter and our performances have been great in the league.”

No idea why, he doesnt say anything bad imo. Man Utd are their city rivals and closest rivals, if I were a City player I'd be far more worried about them than us.
