After a while the OB used to make us take out & give up our laces pre-match (in theory so you couldn't kick anyone) although they never used to search us for the spare laces we had hidden upon our person.....

They were selling them outside the Bill Nick and the programme seller outside the Spurs shop (old petrol station) had a few copies. Think they are all sold out now.
I feel for the younger generation that missed the 70's and 80's. Too sanitised these days. Only really get a buzz out of the European aways.
