It's time for Harry to close up shop until this thing is absolutely 100% healed IMO. No England duty, no poxy friendlies in Singapore, see you in August, or longer if he needs it.
No way he won't play for England in the summer IMO , he should take the summer off but he won't

There's room for optimism in the club statement. He hasn't been ruled out of the season so it's not an injury like Winks had which I think was a rupture that ultimately needed surgery as it never fully healed well enough by itself. It could be the low end of grade 2. We'll know more when he posts his "foot out of boot" picture, and his "running again" one. I'm pretty sure he'll be available for the CL final and we just need to get through 3 games without him.

once Kane is fit he needs to have specialist check out his movement (way he stands walks runs etc) in case he can change the way he moves or have wedges in boots etc
something they should have looked at but have they ?
can't remember how each injury happened, but thought the man U (jan 19) one should not have been a problem, yes stamp on ankle would be problem, but think couple of his injuries should not have had him out for 4-6 weeks each time

It's because he is rushed back each time and probably not healing properly. Fuck off the England summer games even if fit. Served his country enough and some pointless tournament isn't worth it. We clearly need a fucking good backup bought in the summer. Eventually this persistent injury will ruin his career. Has to stay our of fucking pointless tackles. Leave shit like that to someone else.

In my opinion he flew into Delph. Not the other way around. Why he's diving in there I don't know. Totally unnecessary, no danger at all. Already a dodgy ankle and it wasn't best advised to fly in like that.

I know son seems to step up when Harry is out but it's going to be difficult in the second leg and rest of the league campaign. We must surely have enough to beat Huddersfield and Brighton but FFS this injury does not makes things easy!
While what Fernandinho was doing was cunty and deliberate, I agree with you. I didnt think Delph set out to injure Kane but just landed on him as Kane flew in for apparent reason.

If Kane slides in there he probably takes the ball and Delph as well grabbing a yellow in the process.
This is what I thought he was doing when I saw him charging in, he was silly to go in late like that and try to body Delph.

Since he came back from injury we drew 1, won 1 and lost 4 PL matches? So as long as our remaining best players are available it shouldnt make too much of a difference if one isnt available.
The whole world is watching and they are not as blind. As good as he already is just need to pass for the team not so much for himself. He was on a steep uptrend on that aspect this year but that last premature come back did not help at all.

Thank you, but Harry Kane doesn't need you to tell him how to play football.

Kane needs to come to his senses and take care of himself.
He's an injury or two away from ending his career early.
I love his commitment to the game of course, but he has to be more careful with his body...

Poch himself admitted yesterday that Kane brought the injury on himself by going for such a daft challenge. He just needs to protect himself a bit more, his last injury was also picked up in an unnecessary challenge with Phil Jones in the final seconds of a match.

Horrible season for him in terms of injuries, however:

Since 15/16 without Kane starting in all competitions:

Played: 48
Won: 32
Drawn: 8
Lost: 8
Goals scored: 94
Win percentage: 70%

Worth noting that 7 of those 8 losses came in cup competitions (Mostly Europa League in 15/16) and the other loss was away at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Believe. COYS

Knowing Kane and his previous returns from these sort of injuries, he'll be back before the end of the season. Remember when he was supposed to return to training in March and ended up being in training in February and starting?!

IT CONTINUES

I feel like when he is in the team, our players look for him too much, they want him to score and that's understandable but when he’s out of the team we look far more clinical in the final third because other players start looking for goal themselves, in a weird way the second he went off injured it looked like the shackles came off (against City.)

Reminds me of the Palace game when Rose was clean through and should have had a shot but looked for Harry instead because he wanted him to get the first goal in the new stadium (that's what it felt like anyway.) but Harry is often double or triple marked these days in those situations.

Harry will score plenty of goals and we are undoubtedly a better team with him as he is world class and our best player imo but our other players need to realise that they are just as good as him and just as important and when he does come back maybe they need to think a little less about making Harry happy and do what they are doing now.
