The whole thing is fucking embarrassing. From the game itself that means absolutely nothing to the popularity contest disguised as a selection of the all-stars, it's all so stupid. I just hope that nobody gets injured for this.
How the fuck can they be in an all star squad if they haven't played a fucking game in the competition?
It's simple, a lot of money was spent on them to promote the game, and this isn't anything more than a marketing ploy.
It looks like after a reasoned purely football discussion with Poch, Levy and co decided that the altitude in colorado was just what the doctor ordered for preseason training.

Last year's game was an embarrassment. MLS players cutting down the Bayern lads. Fingers crossed we get out of this game unscathed.

Saying this as a fan of the league, having Fat Frank and Gerrard selected is a disgrace. MLS seems like it's always taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
