Great to have him back...... Bit more of a low key showing today, but quietly quality and always proper COYS.

We have a really likeable squad on our hands.

what happened to him today? Did the injury look bad?
What happened was that Harvey Barnes kept running at Porro, drifting past him into the box as if he wasn't there, which prompted Porro to start chasing Barnes into the Newcastle half and attempting to kick him into submission.

When that failed Porro got 'injured'.

It didn't look too bad. I would expect him back for Burnley and Sheffield United.

Pep was right.

Flat track bully.

Well, our fullbacks have zero cover in front of them and haven’t all season. It’s why I knew we’d struggle today. They were on to a hiding to nothing. Every game there is oceans of space in front of them, Porro in particular, for teams to attack. The only thing that surprises me, is that teams don’t do it more. It’s guaranteed chances.

Where the fuck has this chap disappeared to? Are injuries making our top players forget how to fucking play well?

Controversial opinion

Many fans don't realise this, but I think Pedro Porro is our biggest weakness in the starting XI.

He is unreliable, impulsive, and easily distracted - shame on all the talents he was gifted with.

Definitely need to bring in someone better on the right side during the summer.

I can't agree with that at all. I think he's quite pivotal in how we want to play, to be honest. Would 100% stick with him but look to bring in competition for that spot. We need strong competition for every place and we don't have that right now.

Doesn't mean it's not true

He’s got weaknesses but I honestly don’t think you can make a realistic argument that he’s our biggest one when we have forwards not forwarding or even giving him much defensive cover.

He fits the profile of an inverted full back well. I have concerns about various elements of his defensive work but I have concerns about almost our entire squad for various reasons.

I honestly think Vicario has been a bigger issue over the last few months, but still wouldn’t have him anywhere near one of our biggest problems.
