Why do you think that? Real finished 15 points behind Barca with Modders pulling the strings last season. We literally got more prem points with Modders gone.

And we didnt have Ronaldo, Benzema, Ozil, Higuan etc.

Madrid was a psychological mess last year, that wasn't even remotely Modric's fault.
 
Real were shit last season because Mourinho spent all year having an emotional meltdown/temper tantrums.

So you don't think that we'd have been any better last season had we swapped Dembele for Modric? That is laughable. You can't pin Madrid finishing 15 points behind on Modric, who was in his first season and struggled for the first few months. Barca finished on 100 points, they were incredible.

Cups eh? We won a cup the season before Modric came. And he dictated out 2 highest scoring seasons? Funny because I remember him breaking his leg during one of them. Tell you what old chap: Post all prem goals of the season to prove your point. You won't, because if you watch goals scored, Modric is not involved on the buildup any more than anyone else. You will see a fuck ton of others players again and again...Modric...Not so much. Go on: Post the highest scoring season all goals compilation: Modders will hardly be involved and won't stand out more than anyone else.

This is funny: Because Defoes best streak happened WHEN MODRIC BROKE HIS LEG. So Defoe WAS top of the scoring charts during this time around December. Modric comes back...Guess what happens...Guess?

Again...Watch all of the buildup. He was not that involved in VDV's goals any more than anyone else. Crouch, Ade etc were way more involved.

THIS I agree with. Modric did play with style and was entertaining. Luckily he broke his leg so we got enough early points to make it to the CL. In Nov with Modders out for months, we were third in the league.

Modirc "making us tick" is probably the biggest misnomer in our modern history. One season he dictated Defoe having the offside record in the prem. Another season he dictated out worst ever start to a season where we were bottom of the table. He dictated Bales losing streak with us. He dictated Ramos out the door.
