I assume that Woolwich coach has retractable floors to drop passengers onto the tracks at high speed, right?
The seats are scooped out of one piece of plastic, so they have to figure out a different way to register their protests. And bin liners on the seats
NBC certainly seem to be making a big effort. Fair play
Well, did ABC/ESPN make this kind of splash with the World Cup?The major American stations (NBC, CBS, ABC/ESPN) absolutely know how to present and sell sports on TV. They are by far the best in the world at it.
What's interesting is that NBC isn't exactly short on weekend sports programming: they have Notre Dame carryball Saturday afternoons (so just after the PL) and the NFL Sunday nights. And they have plenty of golf/racing during the spring. But maybe they hope the PL will help lead into ND/golf/etc. and maybe take eyeballs away from the Sunday morning carryball shows their competition broadcasts.
