IMO the more top class players you have, the more chance you have to win. I feel we needed more top class players when we had Kane and Son.
We since sold Kane and have added some players like VDV and Vicario that are on the edge of being top class and likely will be in the next season or 2.
But we still need more top class players if we are serious about winning.

So it’s unlikely he would have come on anyway. His one of the few players who likes to get things moving. Plays with some urgency but Ange put kulu on who is slower than an oil tanker down the suiz.

VDV would legitimately start for any team (international or club) on the planet and I pretty much never get sucked in to the insane hype-train for our players that a lot of our fans do. He is on the verge of being ridiculously good for his age. Injuries the only obstacle.
Adding someone as good as him but in midfield or in the front 3 would gain us a shit load of points.
I really really hope Paratici is being given licence (backing) to add Nico Williams, D. Olmo, level players to our team. I'd even take that twat Toney because on reflection we could use a few dick heads. Them three in and a Gibbs-white, Alti Nouri, Nunes, Onana basically an already established EPL player would be massive
