Really really poor today. The goal aside Kulu was poor, Son was shocking, lost count the amount of times he gave the ball away. Maddison has not found form since his return and poor again today. We all know what Richy offers and not great today either. That's your front attacking four offering very little at all and in turn putting pressure on everyone behind them.
Biss caused the second goal losing possession, then not once looking around to see the goal scorer running off his shoulder. Royal is just not good enough for our system, either going forward or defensively.
We need to figure out a plan b to break down teams that sit in, as the tippy Tappy crap we played today is certainly not cutting it.

Oh totally. We lack the decisiveness and penetration of those first ten games.

We are playing once a week, thanks to being out of the cups. We shouldn't be tired at all.

We have fuckloads of possession but too often play the wrong ball, or people get in each others way. It looks like they don't know what they are doing.

Teams lose football matches. It happens. Sometimes you get fucked on the counter.

But what we are seeing is a pattern emerging over the last ten games. They don't know what to do.

And we've become too easy to play against. Soak it up and counter.
This is pretty much a perfect summary of what's wrong with us atm. We are mentally way too fragile and temperamental as a team. It's painful stuff to watch!

First 10 games skewed expectations and perception of where we are really at.

Think now we're seeing how much of a work in progress we really are and tbh thought it would be a very up and down season and we'd end up finishing 5th or 6th, much like Poch's first.

We need to have patience because what those first 10 games did show was the potential is there to be a top team, especially with another summer transfer window.

Think it's way too early to say Ange's tactics have been found out - to me it looks like a number of players are out of form / underperforming / injured and the team isnt executing his style of play in the same way we saw in the early part of the season.

Some concerning performances for sure but we have a 2 week break now to come back refreshed and with more conviction for the last part of the season.

Happens to often against us though

Bissouma and Maddison are supposed to be the key to unlocking teams doing this but let's be honest both stank the joint out

Especially Bissouma. Key to breaking teams down who do this is width and we just again played so narrow

Very AVBish today and an awful watch

Bissouma the key in playing out under press, they didn’t do that. Maddison a bit disappointing, but it’s hard against a compressed bus park, but we can’t just rely on midfielders to create. Our forwards contribute so little creatively, that’s where we need to improve massively.

Gonna be a long trip home on the South Wales Spurs bus tonight lads, that one really blew the wind out of the sails. That was so, so poor all round. Nobody gets pass marks today, but I'm not gonna scapegoat individuals. It was collectively shite.

We are looking fatigued, the sharpness is gone, players are dwelling on the ball.

For me its not so much about the loss, the home games we lost to west ham and villa for eg still felt like watching the same team from the opening months, now everyone looks like they've lost a yard of pace. We look ok in patches but we've become sloppy.

Physically getting bullied as well, everyones getting bumped off the ball with ease, sometimes its of our own doing by being too slow to release the ball.

I tended to be fatigued playing once a week, after working night shifts, including the night before the game
