Lamela again??? What the actual fuck. This is becoming a joke.

Damn I know Poch loves him but this is silly now. He does the square root of fuck all against these type of teams at home but still gets played.
Poch always plays his favorites

If Lamela was Brazilian he'd never get a game ahead of Lucas

But honestly both Lucas & Son against a team that sits back is probably rather inefficient

Lucas and Son on the pitch together is often redundant outside of maybe the last 25 minutes to make runs in behind a tired opponent.

Come on people, are you really going to make me go looking for the Palace team?

No it isn't.

Lamela has his purpose when we play the bigger teams but against smaller teams at home he is usually shite.
Lamela’s role with Erickson starting regardless of opponent is vastly different than it was against Villa and Newcastle.

That’s like saying Dele’s role isn’t different with Winks and Sissoko on the pitch compared to Ndombele and Dier/Wanyama.

We have 7 games in next 21 days. looks like Poch has not risked those just back in training to start but will ease them in. Only 1 enforced change. Got to assume a lot of the selection of the team down to fitness.
