Our problem is that we pile on these great expectations on a side with shite players, and when they can't keep up, they lose their nerve and it completely collapses.
People living in cloud fantasy land thinking we can simply sell a list of 8 first teamers just like that and buy ready made replacements. This isn't Football Manager.
Obviously ENIC bears ultimate responsibility for this shit show but which of our players has Conte actually improved in his time here? I don't see him proving his coaching credentials, certainly not this season.
A rebuild is long overdue but it will be painful and take time to rid of the deadwood and get new blood in.
Hopefully that rebuild includes new ownership too....

Seriously, it feels inevitable. Solves the Conte problem and maybe appeases some amount of fans and players alike, but it won‘t work out and just destroy whatever legacy/goodwill Poch left with.
