This is how the table will look after the weekend we play Liverpool if:

Chelsea: beat Wolves H, beat Everton A and beat Cardiff A
United: draw with Arenal A, beat Watford H
Woolwich: draw with United H, beat Newcastle H

We're fucked

One point out of 4th with 5 games left at home and Bournemouth on the road? With United having to play City, Chelsea having to play Liverpool AND United, and all three of those teams playing a mix of the 7-11 squad that can could easily nick a couple points against all of those teams?

It’s not great, but fucked? Come on.

I’m usually pretty positive, even in defeat.....but after witnessing the past 6 games (domestically) we ain’t getting top 4.
To get top 4 now at this stage we need to fight, and there will be must win games on a weekly basis from now on in.....we can’t and we don’t have the character to do either of the above.

8 games left. W 5...D 1...L 2.....16pts. Finish with 77 pts. Should just about do it.
Liverpool (a) going for the league
Brighton (h) fighting relegation
Huddersfield (h) gone or nearly gone
Man City (a) league
West Ham (h) don’t like us,we don’t like them!
Bournemouth (a) nothing to play should be safe by the time we play them.
Everton (h) as above
Palace (h) ?
5 homes 3 aways! Playing the way we are I can see 4 wins out of that the rest fuck knows but bare in mind we’ve two champion league games luckily if it turns out 1st leg is between Brighton and Huddersfield games 2nd leg before Man City! But we could right that game off anyway.

At least Woolwich are getting smashed tomorrow and if wolves show up spurs won’t look too bad
Thought we were trying to get away from that “ as long as we’re better than them mentality “ it’s what we do that matters not them!

Not sure between a United win & a draw. What is everyone else thinking?
United win is possibly preferable because they have a rough schedule in the league over the next 6 weeks, and Champions League, and FA Cup. So denying Woolwich any points with their remaining schedule may be better than one each, but it’s close.

Chelsea have a game in hand which really fucks the math, though, but they also play at Liverpool and Man United.

I think the table ends up as City, Liverpool, then:

Tottenham 77 points
United 76 points
Woolwich 75 points
Chelsea 74 points

Their squad is over paid toilet.
They ironically smashed us once and almost beat us at home this year. If their squad is over paid toilet, what's ours?

Woolwich are shit but one day they play amazing football and the next they play like relegation fodder, you just never know which Woolwich turns up.
