Having just watched the highlights on MOTD2 it's clear that tiredness and the sudden, unexpected death of a member of the coaching staff was a bit of an issue for City.
I get that sort of response when I tell a joke down the Pub!

No, the comment is still there i think....The fucking state of that comment. Looks like he deleted it as I can't quote it.
Greaves was wonderful in the 50's and 60's
He'd be slow and useless in the 21st century.
That's not a dig at Greaves. Football has changed beyond comprehension today.
Kane could go back in time to Greaves period and with his fitness, might last 10 minutes of a match before getting snapped in half by the typical assault players were subjected to.
You cannot compare them like for like. Same for boxers. The sports change. The science changes.
That's the funniest thing you've said for ages!I get that sort of response when I tell a joke down the Pub!
It's just incomparable. And it works both ways. Todays elite athletes would struggle with bad pitches, waterlogged balls and getting assaulted.Fair enough but I saw a lot of Jimmy and he was like greased lightning so speed wouldn’t be a problem
The fags at HT might though
My all time Spurs legend along with Mackay who would be a revelation in today’s game
Can't quote or replyNo, the comment is still there i think....
Blame the teachers? What were his parents doing? Don't they spell-check everything their child writes? I know I do.Poor kid, I laughed and my wife gave out to me. She said blame the school teachers.
Saw that and can't believe the Dad let him make the sign with no correction.
*you're
5 nil against Burnley?
Simply do not agree with your comment on Greaves. He was lightning quick, both in thought and in deed. The fucking state of that comment. Looks like he deleted it as I can't quote it.

I try and do it on here but it’s not always appreciated…Blame the teachers? What were his parents doing? Don't they spell-check everything their child writes? I know I do.

You are right in your last sentence though, the changes render them incomparable. However, with the fitness regimes and protection that strikers get today, I'm 100% of the opinion that Greaves would eat the modern game alive.
You assume the parents are any brighter.....Blame the teachers? What were his parents doing? Don't they spell-check everything their child writes? I know I do.
In the final third absolutely, but elsewhere?I think the lacing boots comment was a bit harsh but I suspect Greaves might have been better for natural talent .
I think Woolwich will win the league by amassing more points than anyone else but would love to see their arses wobble if they lose at home to Man CityGreat result but still can't feeling we have helped Royal Woolwich to another Championship.
Simples! If we average 2.5 points, and they average 1.5 points per game, we pip em by 2 points
That would mean (for them), 8 wins, 3 draws and 7 defeats. We would simply need 13 wins and a draw (2 defeats)
Levy's dream of being top dog is coming true, doing it the right way.City have been charged with financial misconduct and could get a points deduction !!
