Its a fairly generic chant though, I'd rather sing more original stuff (if there is such a thing).

Plus nowadays we are too busy singing about how great we are to be bothered about how shit everyone else is.
I liked it (the full version). My old man will be pleased though, he hated me singing it, considering he's Tottenham through and through and his old man actually was a gooner.

Going to the game.
Get up shower, breakfast etc then a bus up to a pub local-ish to me. Few beers to calm the nerves and catch up with people I only see at football. Tube down to Finsbury Park then walk to the ground. Endure the game. Walk back towards Angel Islington and hit a few pubs on the way then drink thereat if the day away in Islington.

Done this the last few games and seems to be the best routine I've found.

Working until 1.

Can't believe I am working, but with xmas approaching and a missus and two herberts to look after I have no choice. When did life get so serious :(

Anyway, all communications will be switched off from 1230, home by 1:30 , sky plussing it so start from the beginning then drink as much as humanely possible whilst trying not to scream the C word every two seconds

I generally spend the week leading up pinching my bell end with nerves.

Usually engage in some bantz with the scumbags that i am unlucky enough to be familiar with, go on some general football threads and engage in some light trolling, ramping it up to full blown abuse as the game draws nearer. The average Gooners general position is one of self deprecation nowadays, done as a defense mechanism, and this means they are less likely to bite so you have to work hard at it.

Games are always early kick offs nowadays. Which is good because you don't spend the day waiting but bad because it can then ruin the rest of your day / weekend.

Counting down the 25 hours till i am screaming COYMFS at my TV and scaring my children.

I spend the week as a nervous wreck. Game's at 11:30pm and I'll be at a party beforehand but will be coming home early. No doubt will be shaking uncontrollably during the build up and match. Fuck i hate that feeling of pure nerves, not fun.

Okaydoke, yes I did avoid the match thread thought a match routine/NLD experince deserved it's own thread for no other reason than my own indulgence as explained a few posts up!

I think you are confused.
If you have someone on ignore you can't see any of their posts and therefore any threads they started.
The guy that complained ( miche miche ) that there wasn't a matchday thread didn't realise this and posted on this thread to ask why.

Um...what's going on here? We've got an NLD in TWO days - where's the match thread?! These international breaks really put everyone to sleep!

Bah! Was ignored content for some reason! Catchup time!

Thread starter is probably the most ignored member on here. Pointless him starting a thread of this magnitude really.

Waiting for my kiss.

I don't think anyone is calling you out for starting this one.

Arrg, damn it. Sorry for messing up your thread ( Aberdeenshire yid ) and confusing everything. I didn't realise if an ignored member starts a thread that ENTIRE thread is hidden from you!! Got him on ignore and he still trolled me.
