It is, ostensibly, about what a great player Kane is. But, what they're really trying to say, even with their token qualifying remarks, is that Spurs aren't ever going to be good enough for him.

We are fine, we have the 6th highest wage bill in the league some way short of 5th placed Liverpool, however the stadium will hopefully redress that issue.
They clearly believe players should be earning £150-200k pw as standard. Plenty of players at those clubs are not deserving of that kind of money and it’s those clubs ruining it for everyone else.
