‘Coward ‘ the wrong word mate

Poch is anything but that

In hindsight he got it wrong and I thought he should have started Lucas

Could have gone the other way
I wish it was the wrong word mate. Would it be any better though if starting unfit Kane was totally on his own call? Again??

We still lose and Kane doesn’t start “how could he not start our star player?”
This argument is doing the rounds and it makes no sense.

Kane did start. He didn’t play well. He wasn’t subbed. We lost.

The manager got it wrong.

Here is a basic example of what you are saying.

If we sign no one this year, and finish 12th it’s ok because we could have signed some players and still finished 12th.
Hindsight eh!!

What in the actual fuck... come on

What you said doesn’t sammy. Kane starting or not the final is not the same as not signing players. Do you think In the same situation the dippers wouldn’t start salah?

It’s about the logic behind it mate.
You are saying that starting Kane was not a mistake because we might have lost if Moura started.

It’s complete nonsense

So is arguing that you could have expected a different or better result with Moura. Today is a field day for the people who gloat in "could've", "would've" and "should've".

Dele and Eriksen were arguably worse so not sure how Moura would have suddenly shined when the others were constantly failing on their first-touch and the passing was atrocious at times.

We had better results with Moura and not Kane though, so there lies the assumption that an in form Moura, who scored a hat trick in the semi, and saved our fucking arses against PSV and Barca, is a better option than a 20% Kane who hadnt played a game of football since the City first leg

I don't believe that we had a 20% Kane, Poch wouldn't play him if that were the case. Why aren't you listing all of the times that Kane has saved our ass over the years, or the times when Moura played and was invisible? It seems awful selective to only focus on these specific instances.

Moura has a total of 15 goals in 48 appearance for us. Kane has 164 in 253.

Overall, I get the point but assumes that all things are equal otherwise. There are a million different factors that can make the difference, to just assume that because he did "x" against a certain team that he can repeat it against any opponent, on any day, in any location and on any stage. That is poor logic as well.

A coward?

You're a brainless cunt you dribbling mess
Starting Kane yesterday might have been a politically correct move but was a wrong move as lots of people had feared. It costed the club the CL final. I guess it will be one long dribbling summer of the accepting vs denying.

As we cannot see into alternate dimensions we will never know whether leaving Kane on the bench would have produced a different result. Pointless to even think about it.

Klopp gambled on Firmino’s fitness and he was shite and dragged off after 55 minutes, because they won that serious error is not being talked about. Our defensive gaffes were much more decisive than the decision to start Kane. They allowed Liverpool to turtle their way to the trophy before we could even start playing.

Any chance that Poch might think the rebuilding job at Spurs is too big and he is better off going elsewhere with a fresh challenge? After 5 years he has probably exhausted every motivational method, tactically tried everything, he might feel he has nothing new left in his locker
