Sorry for my moaning message yesterday after the game, I'm always like that after a shit result. I wasn't at the game but looking at a few messages it seems like the players did put everything in it but it was just one of those games where we had no luck. Given that we only played on wednesday and all the hype over us winning the league you could tell it was going to be a hard game. Hopefully this result will give the players more encouragement to get a result against City. COME ON YOU SPURS!!!

One thing that annoyed me yesterday (and lately, since we've been good) is that some "fans" think you have to wait until we score to sing. We need to lift the team from the start of the game.

This. All over this. I was in the fourth row on the East Lower (normally in the Park Lane) & when I stood up to sing, those around me looked at me like I was a prick. Kept going & they got into it, but looked around the stadium & North & West stands were ALL seated & definitely not singing. Occasionally, got the "Come on you Spurs" chants going all over but we need to get more vocal fans in.

I was in the park lane upper, where I normally buy my tickets because two mates of mine are ST holders there.

I'm gradually starting to get more tickets in PL lower because I don't bother getting warm Carlsberg at HT any more, so there's no need to sit where my mates are.

Also, there's hardly any vocal support upstairs until we score nowadays.

To be fair though, PL upper is still noisier than the Paxton, where I was on Wednesday. The cunts in front of me then had a twenty minute holidays discussion during the first half and again, only sung once we had scored.

I was in the east upper for WBA (front row of block J) and the boring old cunts didn't sing AT ALL. I just had to endure some northern prick moaning about everyone's performance.

GET BEHIND THE FUCKING TEAM OR FUCK OFF TO THE EMIRATES

And breathe...

Agree we looked tired. However it was a draw, it happens, we are in the hunt so fuck the haters.

Did anyone else notice that Scotty Parker's distribution always seemed to slow the pace yesterday? Seemed like the pace kept being lost because everytime he moved the ball wide it was behind the player. Other than that he looked his usual epic self.

i reckon the club should make singing a condition of sale; perhaps audition fans to see whether they qualify for entry.

tickets should be reserved for those who exercise their lungs fully, from start to finish, for the cause.

stewards should go round the ground with specialist recording equipment, and should the volume consistently fail to reach acceptable predetermined level (and over a prolonged period) those responsible should be ejected and replaced by proper fans.

that'll fucking sort them out.

this needs to be sorted out now as the problem will be compounded in the new stadium, with an increased capacity.

Hehe. Nice one. Sorry about my rant earlier.

I don't expect anyone to sing for 90 minutes solid but as a shy retiring type, I feel awkward to sing if no-one else around me does.

I don't get to many away games (where our support always makes me proud) but should be going to Watford. Can't wait and I bet I'll have a Crosby voice for the rest of the weekend.

I think we looked a tad tired. Bale wasn't up to his usual amazing standards. Parker perhaps wasn't quite ready.

No need for us to be despondent, we were an incorrect offside call away from the 3 points.

COYS

Yeah, but if you count Stoke (away) we're already 2 incorrect offside calls away from 5 points (assuming we'd have drawn at Stoke... far be it from me to suggest we might've actually won that day!)

Thing is... the swings are starting to mount up against us again this season... where are all the fucking roundabouts?

Walker handball against Fulham
VDV handball against the Scum (I don't think it was but you know.....)

that's just a couple that I remember off the top of my head

Frimpong is a prime example of hype over substance, awful footballer, awful human being, awful cunt.

What they should be questioning is why Frimpong was 'clearing' the ball at head height directly across his own 18 yard box. My PE teacher would have made him run a moat around the pitch for doing that.

What T said. I think its fantastic that gooners 'rate' him. Explained to one that he was perceived as decent simply because Woolwich's stature and quality of players has fallen.

There should be a counter article to that Metro one which reads 'Caulker delights Spurs fans by keeping Woolwich at bay in their 3-2 loss to Swansea'

'Av it!

Evening Standard and the Metro are very gooner-centric. Not surprised they made an article about it, they can trend topics and get column space. We'll take the League.
