really want kubo or nico williams they are players that can push us up further

we could get both for under 100 mill too

I don't see the point of bringing in both, would rather diversify across key positions in January.

1. Need a clear 3rd choice CB
2. Need a backup creator for Maddison
3. Need a winger (Kubo or Williams)
4. Need a back-up no.6 (Swap for Hojberg)

Still find it hard to get my head round the fact that Eric Dier is once again starting PL games for tottenham hotspur.

It was an act of extreme negligence from Levy to leave us so short in so many key areas but this was by far the worst.

For me it's important that we get rid of the hopeless players, that aren't good enough to start or replace starters and are too old to be seen as talents that can be cultivated and get starts or sold for lots of money.

These players are as far as I see it:

- Dier
- Højbjerg
- Lo Celso
-Richarlison

Players that can accept sitting on the bench and come in when called for, I think we can keep:

- Davies

Players that aren't good enough and still young enough to be able to sell, that we need to get rid of:

- Gil
- Royal

Plus, we need to sell the dross out on lone.

What we need to buy.

If Phillips and Dorrington aren't seen as good enough on the bench and some game time we need one CB.

We also need one talanted young playmaker, a young player in Maddison, Eriksen mold, that can get minutes when Maddison is tired or injured. Can Donley be that player this spring?

Finally, is Veliz good enough to come in if Son gets injured during this national break and we are missing Richarlison already?

I think Veliz needs minutes and I'm not sure how he can get them.
Well he could have replaced Sonny against Wolves as Sonny was dreadful.

Needing back ups is bizarre as well, we need challengers.

I don't think there are many teams with 2 players of equal measure in each position. Not unless you have stupid oil money.

Then there's squad management.

The only reason teams like Real Madrid can have world-class players sitting on the bench is because of the prestige they carry.

Samuel Iling-Junior or Antonio Nusa for the LWF role, Tosin Adarabioyo or Jarrad Braithwaite if Everton are in need of a sale for FFP.

I still think Tapsoba should be on our list long term. I also really like the clips of that Archie Gray at Leeds that someone mentioned the other day.
