I don't see the point of bringing in both, would rather diversify across key positions in January.

1. Need a clear 3rd choice CB
2. Need a backup creator for Maddison
3. Need a winger (Kubo or Williams)
4. Need a back-up no.6 (Swap for Hojberg)

Will probably get flayed for this, but I was always thinking that Maddison would be the (eventual) back-up #10.

I watch a lot of Italian football and he’s very aggressive and has decent pace. Genoa try play from the back and he’s comfortable on the ball.

Sounds good... If Fab has given him the nod then that could be a tidy acquisition.

After Kane left it was hard to imagine we'd be this dependent on a single player but yup, he essentially runs our build up and attack by himself.
