I think or atleast hope most fans (big chunk of twitter doesnt) will understand the following: Jose will not get sacked, end of all this 'shouldnt have fired Pochettino' or he was 'the wrong choice'. He has his ego and a big fat contract from Levy. Fuck knows why he is earning that much, but it is what it is. Knowing Levy, no chance is he going to ever cancel this contract. Mourinho is here until Summer 2023 and thats a fact. I even go as far as relegation and he would still be our manager in the championship.

Levy will sack anyone anytime, he couldn't give a fuck. A bad start to next season and Jose is gone. Guaranteed

Not this time around. With Mourinho he has gone all in. Too big of a salary to just let him go whenever he wants.
These days managers don't get their contracts paid up in full if they are sacked. Mourinho will simply be paid until he finds another job. That's most likely the same with Poch.

As the prize/TV/euro pot/match day money increased so do does the salary. It’s all relative.

Getting CL is worth £70m paying a manager £15m to achieve it reflects the value. To pay out his contract would also be appropriate if it’s felt he’s not convinced those that he can achieve it.

The question mark remains on whether the board have the faith in his ability, not what his salary is.
