Of course he did. He turned into a world class player last season, confirmed by the £86m price paid for him. And the rest of our squad is not comparable to Real Madrid's.

The funny thing is, I don't hear the 'one man team' jibes being poked at Liverpool this season, despite Suarez clearly being head and shoulders above the rest of their players. Suarez is winning Liverpool just as many points single-handedly as Bale did for us. Liverpool are loved by the press, and therefore will not kop cop the same stick we did last year.

Because they were absolutely still up there in the period that Saurez wasn't playing. He's just pushed them even further.

Against Liverpool last week, the 3 pundits were Souness (247 caps), Carragher (508 caps) and Gerrard (456 caps). Match of the Day regularly has Hansen (434 caps) and Lawrenson (241 caps). They're all over the fuckin press. And the latter 2 are so biased, Liverpool are always amazing when they win, and extremely unlucky when the lose.

I never saw such furore aimed at Liverpool as they've fallen from grace over the last few years. They won the CL 8 years ago - and cannot even qualify for the fuckin thing now.

We're in 7th, 5 points off 4th and our club's a disgrace and in a spiral of decline. The atmosphere is shit, the fans are racist and players are all flops.

I don't think all other clubs are treated well in the media, but Liverpool are without doubt one of them.
