Yeah I can see you are desperately/cringingly trying to make it about something else other than what I meant which was a club who wins more trophies, which is what I meant by better club. Which I have clarified & you still try to make it about stuff other than trophies. You keep missing the point so I am going to politely leave it there.

What you meant was perfectly clear, but as I already explained it's the manner in which you expressed it that I am responding to. I've not outright criticized you have I? It just displays an attitude that, for me is alien, for a football fan.

Re-read this little saga, consider the reactions (plural!) you've received and don't be such a 'victim'.

Happy for Hugo! Don’t understand why any supporter is anything but happy for him. He really seems to like it at Spurs and respects Poch and Levy. France deserved to win.

Why has no one clipped Giroud's fucking face out of this to create a smiley yet?

Wasters.

Actually I thought the whole handing over of the trophy was a bit shambolic, didn't seem to have the same sense of occasion as when a trophy is handed over at Wembley. The camera angle was also rubbish, as they caught two men running across the shot just after Hugo lifted the cup. Then to cap it all, the person nearest Hugo is Rylan Clark's doppleganger!

Very good keeper & deserves it. Just like kane he is a nice, humble & down to earth guy. No big ego's with these 2.
The mistake had no bearing on the game & he kept them ahead against belgium to get to the final. We are very lucky to have had him all this time as he deserves to be at a better club & winning medals regularly.
There isn't a better club.

Couldn't help picturing Harry lifting the trophy and imagining the wild celebrations across the country, but in truth France were well set up and clinical when it mattered. We still have a long way to go to reach that level of depth.

France and Hugo deserve it. Hate to mix politics with sports, but after the terrorism they have suffered it's hard not to enjoy seeing the French have cause for joy. Seeing Hugo captain them to the trophy was the icing on the cake.

Have to admit to getting a bit emotional seeing our captain lifting the famous trophy. With Kane winning the golden Boot and Modric winning the golden ball it felt like a present and past Spurs love-in. Almost enough to forgive and forget the 90s.

Better as in more trophies. So yes, there are better clubs in that sense. I think I might join in the choosing what the other person meant. I can't believe you don't think hugo deserves to be at a club who win trophies. But if you think hugo isn't good enough then that's up to you. Blah blah blah.
