Not sure how you can blame the players’ effort. It was a lack of ability on the ball. Our attack is no threat so it’s easy to play against.
 
Thought the player we missed the most today was Sarr - someone to drive us up the pitch with pace and power.

We haven't had a settled attack and midfield since Chelsea so nu surprise we're just that little off it.

How similar was it to the league game? Because I did watch that and despite all the positivity after, I thought we were fucking dreadful and it was pure luck we escaped a 3 or 4 nil loss. Were just incredibly clinical.

It seems likely that what we're getting quite good at it, they're just better at. Which is fair, but to have one shot at home is really fucking poor by any marker.

Yup, this whole team is a bit green and in need of some dark arts. You know City do that, get the pushing and shoving going on the first corner. Let the ref know that he’s losing control of the game if he doesn’t stop it.

Need to learn this shit.

This is such a big part of it. Can’t stand the fact that these international competitions are stuck right in the middle of the season. Play them in the summer FFS
