Sorry if my questions annoy anyone. I'm new to soccer. I watch all of the Spurs games available streaming and I'm still learning the game flow. The positions seem a lot more fluid than the sports I grew up watching and playing.

GKs generally are given the number 1 but some GKs have a "lucky" number.
Our GK likes the number 13.
Number 9 is normally given to big 6' plus strikers who are generally more strong than skilful and score more headers because of their height.
You wisely chose the best football team in the world and may supporting the Spurs give you many years of pleasure(?)
