He came on 10 minutes from the end

Edit: I see what you did there

There was a passage of play that summed him up , he recieved the ball near the half way line took a great first touch and powered forward really positively and accelerated easily beyond the Everton midfield into the space in front of him carried the ball forward 20 yards really direct really positive timed the his pass to Kane really well looking for a quick give and go into a dangerous area but misplaces a simple 5 yard pass into Kane and the moves over showing exactly why he could be useful and proving why he's useless in about 4 seconds.

What a wonderful performance, utterly dominant from front to back. So, so balanced without Trips is the team. Everton without a single shot on target, we pressed them in all the right areas, not allowing them a sniff. First 15mins was lovely without creating too many efforts you could see the confidence, aggression and intent from the off, moving the ball quickly, vertically and switching play with one and two touch. Rooney, you fat cunt, should have had about 5 yellows today, you're just a slow old man son, time to hang up your boots.

Son, Dele, Eriksen, Dembele, Vertonghen & Sanchez on a DIFFERENT LEVEL!!! Davies having one of his best ever games for us, Aurier was good too not quite as good as Davies though. Dier, especially first half also superb, some of his vertical passing on the ground to feet braking the lines of Everton midfield were a sight to behold!!!

Congratulations to Kane, what a record!! Beating Teddy's record in just 3.5 years, it took Teddy SEVEN years to amass his total SEVEN!!! Didn't think he was on his game oddly enough, beautiful diagonal ball, fast becoming a trademark of his now but thought his decision making wasn't great and his touch not quite as good as we have seen before, but hey, WHAT. A. PLAYER!

MOTM, so hard to pick but going for Son, no Dele, no Moussa, fuck it Son.

Oh, fuck off leaving on 75mins!!!

Up the Spurs.

Love this. What a great post. Spot on.

Rio actually kept a straight face when he said we lack the player with an old head, experience to open up a team, like Hazard
Who was taken off after 60 mins as he couldn’t do it at home to Leicester or Woolwich when he was replaced by Bakayoko.

Uh huh
Hence the frustration

TBF the defender moved in and intercepted as well on that one. Kane could also have moved to meet the ball since there was space for him to cut in.

I get that Sissoko does not have the best distribution rate but it takes someone to receive it as well.

Great performance all round, MOTM has to go to Son, (IMHO) his goal and asssit allowed us to play with freedon and score a wonderful 4th goal. Well done to Harry Kane - Spurs PL record goalscorer.
