Only attacker that showed up today. Another good display, and if Werner gambled be probably would have had an assist as well. Right wing position is his to lose.

I thought he did well. Bit frustrating at times but overall thought he had a good game. Definitely the best of the attacking 3 although that's not saying much as the other 2 were shit.
 
Only one of our forwards who turned up today. You can see he's learning & improving while continuing to contribute.

Those G/A numbers will only get better as we improve our attacking options.

It doesn't help that others aren't getting into positions to profit from what he creates.

He's gone from 1 in 3 GA to almost 1 in 2 in recent games, and along with Son rising to be one of our most important players.

What we need is four Brennan Johnson's. Each wing; and like for like on the bench. Then we'd be way more effective.

We're a project and so is he, we didn't buy him to be good or in his peak this season, we bought him to improve and start peaking in a couple of seasons.
