No matter what I do, I can't get rid of this boner.

Hope this helps?

I think Dembele got MOTM because to most pundits who haven't watched us much/still assume Dembele is crap, they were impressed with how he bossed the middle of the park against Yaya and the others. Whereas we spurs fans probably didn't realise/appreciate how much he dominated as we're used to seeing him perform much better.

Also, how ironic that it was yet another frustrating Rose cross that hits the first man that set us on our way! Maybe he keeps doing it on purpose as part of Poch's masterplan...

Afternoon lads . Still buZzing from the matches. Has anyone got any photos of the banners our fans had at the matche? I could not make them out

He has to tighten up but he is motivated, love his attitude!

His shortcomings right now remind me a bit of Lamela pre this season. Good work rate and obvious talent. But a bit too easily pushed off the ball and especially too hasty with quite a few passes. I think the last one is a case of players enjoying playing in tight spaces needing to adapt to the faster closing down.

Edit: A few things that struck me, Kompany and Kane leading the players out for the warm-up in exactly the same way then Kompany giving it all that at the start of the first half compared to Lloris' calm authority before the second half... not forgetting Dier giving Yaya the old "see you in the second half"...

Was stood out for me was the football v homophobia t shirts Abu Dhabi have allowed to grace their marketing vehicle. Especially when you can get topped/go to jail/Fined/deported or chemically castrated for being Gay in Abu Dhabi.

fucking hypocrites.
Edit: I find it rather strange that Canal St Blues (LGBT MCFC) don't challenge their owners on this topic. I suppose it's ok to be funded by despot homophobes if you're winning stuff. It's also ok for their club to be an advertising vehicle for a country which persecutes gays.
It may just be a case that they don't really care about the rights of their LGBT community in Abu Dhabi. Really annoys me. So hypocritical
Same with PSG.

Another thing that gets on my tits - why is it whenever we get a dubious decision in our favour (we've had a few this year) do we need to try and justify it, or recall decisions that went against us in past seasons??

Fuck 'em! Give us all the dodgy decisions in the world please. I don't care! I fucking love it every time. The more we make other fans cry the better!

I didn't see those cunt fans justifying Ronaldo's dives, JT's handballs or Suarez's general twattery and neither should we.

This is the first time in years the Sky 4 have had to look up the table and see our hairy arseholes - and we should take every opportunity to shit all over those self-entitled pricks!!

:memelol:

Long may it continue! COYS!!!

Did you get Dembele and Rose mixed up in the bolded part? I mean Dembele is always praised by pundits, they know how good he is and whenever we play a top him he's always singled out as an important player due to how good he is on the ball.

Thought you may have meant that Dembele got it because pundits still think Rose is rubbish and don't really watch Spurs enough to realise how good he is because for me there was only one man of the match yesterday and that was Danny Rose.

Evening chaps. Had a lovely end to yesterday catching up on this thread with a beer in my hand. To be honest, it's taken until today for it to sink in that we actually won. Can't really add anything that hasn't already been said. COYS.
And now we get quite a few Spurs matches to watch in quick succession. Heaven.

Clear to see the leadership that Kompany adds to their team - makes it even more impressive that we managed to beat them yesterday with him included.
Loving the silent portions where their bitter players were either swearing or saying something that wouldn't be allowed on the official website.
:allitongue:

'If you cut me in half I bleed the colour of the club' shortly after being appointed interim manager of Spurs.
:sherwoodlol:
'I'm a gooner' a few years beforehand on some Sky football show.

Did anyone else see his pained expression when Danny Murphy said it was 'obvious' he and Sherwood would be wanting Spurs to win the title out of the current top 4?
As fucking if that's what Timmy wants.

The thing that stood out to me?

The amount of instructions being given out.

Hart starts telling Fernando how to defend/where he needs to be seconds after they've left the dressing room. If you need to tell your defensive midfielder where to be 10 seconds after the team talk, then you've obviously not prepared very well and it shows a lack of faith. 5 seconds before this he was saying "We can control this game", so it's a little strange he's telling people how to defend a few seconds later. If you control the game you don't need to defend.

Hart shouting "More goals, more goals" and then the camera goes to Aguero (Who was drifting at the back, as far away as possible) Just added pressure on him. He looked up and obviously heard it, didn't seem too chuffed.

During the warm up and half time, a lot of our players were talking to each other, laughing, joking. City either didn't talk to each other or just barked out instructions. Look at our team at 3.37. They're all in a circle, looking at each other. Every player is involved.

City come out at 4.21. Kompany on his own. looking moody and disinterested, languid and sulky with his body language. The interesting bit is how far behind him his team are and how long it takes Kompany to turn back around to aknowledge them. Their players don't stand in a circle, so much as two lines, with big gaps between each other, and only 2-3 players talking.

Dier waving at Toure during half time in the tunnel was funny too.

Clear to see even in the tunnels that we're the better prepared, the more composed and the more together team.

MOTD 2 Highlights. Absolute joke.
Do not reflect the 30/70 possession in first half.

They also didn't mention the fact that YaYa should have had a red by half time

Funny that those retards on Blue Moon don't refer to that either!

Dust now settling in my house after yesterday!

For the remaining minutes left after Eriksen scored I kept repeating louder n louder
"We're gonna fucking do it"
Ad finitum until Mrs B threatened to banish me to the spare room for the night

Then the whistle went and I jumped up
"We've fucking done it "

So I get a red card!

Fortunately the spare room has a fridge always stacked with shampoo n tinnies and a large tv so had a ball watching MOTD 2 later waking today with a serious hangover and had to take Mrs B to Nandos to make it up!

I'm still buzzing now and really envious of those of you who were there!
