I hope he sees the mistake he made in bringing Dier back. Dier just cannot play this system. He is much too slow and terrible on the ball.

Royal, Phillips or Dorrington need to be playing next match at CB, whoever is preferred on the right side.

Like Conte and every coach, Ange is only going to be as good as his players. You can't execute Angeball with Dier, Davies, Emerson and Hojbjerg building up from the back. It's painful to watch.

Our recruitment has been brilliant to give Ange some proper players to work with, but we set ourselves on fire again Chelsea and our lack of depth, which we all know about, is exposed.

It's not just the system, you need good players as well.

Otherwise Burnley or whoever plays fast paced, attractive pressing football would be top of the league.
Obvious as hell but ultimately you need players of a certain quality to execute the philosophy you have and get results week after week.

Expecting the likes of Dier, Emerson, Hojbjerg to be relied upon long term in the system is never going to work. We've known this for a long time.

He had a few on the bench. Great excuse today to give them a chance.

If they make mistakes, blame it on injuries and take it on the chin.

We are meant to be rebuilding or in a transition. So why bring back players that arent going to be part of our future?
I think politically, time spent in first team training, etc etc, it's the lads like Dier, Davies, Royal, Hojbjerg who are going to get that nod to fill in. In the first game after the Chelsea catastrophe I get it.

Moving forward though, and considering he now has two weeks cleared to train them, I agree and want to see da yoof given a chance ASAP.

I could not understand actual Spurs fans claiming we could not buy two top centerbacks when it was fucking obvious to Stevie Wonder what would happen. The miracle was it took 10 games. You are not winning anything with Eric Dier Hojbjerg and Davis starting games. Royal is just about good enough to come off the bench. But the people who thought Hojbjerg's cameos off the bench when games were 95% won warranted more playing time will now enjoy the reality. Ange is a great coach but he is not a magician

There's no excuse for playing the same players that let us down year after year and in the Fulham game and expecting something more from them. Sometimes you have to manage and get out of the game what you can. We could of atleast taken 2 points from these last 2 games. For as good as He's been in the previous games the last 2 He's been as bad. Complete inability to adjust to the circumstances put in front of him.

Only 3 players who started today starter that Fulham game mate....

So why are you blaming his tactics and team selection then...
Because we got deservedly beaten by a weaker team. This was used as a stick to beat the previous managers with, so why not use it on Postecoglou? And because it seems he will persist with a system even now that we haven’t got the players for it.

The fact that he hasn’t got a solid backup CB wasn’t a dig at him…

He should have trusted in the youngsters.

Still a bresh of fresh air, and right now, some people are getting a right fucking bolloxing and deservedly so.

We love you Ange

Big Ange is great and we’re on the right track with the right man at the helm. We need to show more tactical flexibility though. In his own way he’s nearly as stubborn and slave to a system as Conte. Sometimes hoofing it into Row Z is the only option.

It was all Wolves second half and I would’ve expected us at 89mins and 1-0 up to sit in and take 3pts. What happened in the build up to both their goals was a calamity. Heads gone, naive nonsense.

Without getting too carried away, the manager has to take responsibility for this. Still love the way we’ve played this season but the ex-pros piling in after Chelsea will feel vindicated now

He's said every game is like an exam. Well, he'd have seen plenty fail that exam today.

First game back after international break will see some changes. Udogie will be back. Likely to see Lo Celso start now Bissouma is suspended.

Important training and decisions over the next two weeks.

Not sure what Ange could have done differently. He won’t change his style and I love that about him, so he needed the backups to step up

They proved they couldn’t do it like they have shown a million times before

Big January ahead

THATS ANGE YOU DUM KENT.

Ange doesnt “adjutht to the circumthantheth”, he plays the same style EVERY game, regardless of injuries, opposition, weather et al.

You take the good with Ange, you also accept the bad. There is no compromise. Ever.

The previous managers had a small matter of the best striker in the world for bailing them out time and time again plus the previous managers did fuck all coaching to improve players, false equivalence
