The Spurs fans that have a go at the team are not worthy unless they have a go at the refereeing at the same time.

Tottenham are being cheated and not for the first time. Wake up Spurs fans!!!!

You seem to conviniently choose what is real and what you don't believe. Conte had publicly said Maddison is a good player. If you know him, he hardly ever does so unless he believes it.

Totally agree with that, problem is that was a choice, it didn't have to be that way.

The decision to play it safe and go with Dier and Davies at cb, Royal lb, Hojbjerg replacing our main creative force in midfield...

There were alternatives that didn't entail wheeling out these proven anti-footballers en masse.

Gil or GLC in for Maddison and we maintain some attacking intent at least, maybe control the game a bit more.

Phillips in at cb if we're as brave as the manager likes to profess, sink or swim, maybe it doesn't work out either but at least it's not the guaranteed mediocrity of Dier.

After Monday nights "it's who we are, we'll have a crack if we're down to 5 men" approach, to then do this today is baffling.

There were options that weren't as predictably disappointing as what we started with today.
I fully agree based on what we see and believe. But we need to understand that the manager sees more. They work day in and day out with these players. They are way more informed. Their decisions should be backed and not second guessed. As Spurs fans we are so quick to , in hindsight, give an opinion that we forget the manager has the whole picture and we don't.

No manager alive would attempt to field Dier unless they really have to.

scoring early... and then being negative thereafter is a big problem

second string players cant play ange ball.. so must adjust tactics. ange should know that?
NOt sure about you guys - but that tikki takka 12 passes to forward 20m is "painful" to watch. Not only that - this continues up the opposition box but no one likes to take a pop... crossing is now out of fashion

I tend to agree a little, inasmuch as there needs to be an end product.

Too often yesterday, what you might call decent possession came to nothing.

Fulham kicked seven bales of crap out of us......but incredibly........ Fulham didn't get a single yellow card.

And that's the only match the whole season where Fulham haven't had a single yellow card
...they got multiple cards in every match since and every match before our match.

They got 3 the next match and 5 in the match after that against Man United.

If you're wondering....they got 4 yellows and a red against Arse anal.

But miraculously, they suddenly behaved so well against us that they didn't warrant a single yellow.

No foul - not even looked at

It's a fact that Levy has mismanaged the squad over the years; it's not that the tight-fisted fucker hasn't spent, it's that it has been spent badly.

In recent seasons we are seeing shoots of improvement, but you aren't overhauling every single squad deficiency in a window or two.

We've spent over £150m this window on players which clearly suit the team and manager, and over the last couple too. Building for something. The issue is our depth, relying on players we haven't yet replaced.

That's why Saturday ultimately happened. We knew there would be bumps in the road, and those of us that aren't cunts knew that this period to Christmas when the match frequency ramped up would be the challenge.

What did everyone really think would happen this season? Personally I thought 4th/5th and a decent stab at the cup. Alright, he fucked one cup but again due do the depth chat above. We have another chance.

We weren't winning the league. Not this time anyway. 🤣

2023 and we’re still churning out Dier, Davies and Royal in defence. How are we still doing this? No coincidence that in every game we have bought these fringe players in, we have lost. Knocked out the cup to Fulham. 2 losses in the league. Fucking sick of these same players letting us down every season

I'm hoping that Ange has figured this out now. He's tried them a few times and it hasn't worked. We've seen it for much longer and we know these guys just can't play together to the standard of this league.

Trying to stay positive about it, I know there are fewer options with the injuries/suspensions, but it's time to be bold and try something different (with what we have).

Of course there is or would be bumps in the road, same as getting all these injuries and suspensions in one go it's Tottenham 😁

As for winning the league, this fantasy needs to be forgotten about, it's not going to happen.
I think a cup is possible and would be nice, that would keep the natives happy, Tottenham don't do league titles.
