There's got to be a bit of Paratici/Levy that want to get him for 10 million or something derisory. But he would be a bigger gamble than Spence or Doherty. Got Sissoko risk : you try and play him in a new position and he ends up back in the old one.

Isn’t it to do with him being based in England? We could have technically approached, signed and announced Perisic in January but wouldn’t have been allowed to speak to Forster.
Its amazing how a crap player can turn out to be quite good when:
he's played in his proper position
he's played in a formation that suits him
he's got a really good manager
he's fit
The majority of our PL games are against teams where we'll do the majority of the attacking. Teams outside the top say 7-8. In those games he gives the oppo so much grief and we started scoring insane amounts of goals.
By all means let's get an upgrade for the matches where we will be doing a lot of defending. Top 4-6. And the better teams in the CL.
