The call for offside was wrong.
But, it looked offside and you can’t blame the linesman.
It wasn’t obviously onside or obviously offside so why it went to VAR is madness.
Then it’s proved not offside but becuase it’s not a clear obvious , ie level a dead heat, the decision stands.
Just accept the decision. It’s not a complete fuck up, as say Vertonghen flagged offside being in his own half or Walker not flagged offside at Home to Man City 16/17.
If it’s true that the coaching staff were calling for VAR on lots of decisions like handballs, fouls they thought were not given for them/ not given against them then it’s farcical.
So if the linesman had not flagged for offside, seeing as it looked offside, VAR would had been used and a goal would have been given?

Totally agree with Poch re VAR. if the linesman gave it as offside then accept the decision and move on. They take too long to make the decision and the game loses all spontaneity.
Yeah, he was also wondering where the extra 3 minutes in the first half came from..."Don't remember seeing a physio on"...how about the VAR you fucking plum...

Poch's war against VAR is one we should all get behind. Football is a game of imperfections. Only black and white decisions like goal line tech is needed. Technology doesn't help opinion.
I think we could end the will to live for the general population of rival fans and pundits if we win the FA Cup through a VAR mistake......Dele offside from a through ball, ball bobbles off his hand to Lamela who dives, penalty wrongly given, then Kane scores the penalty and Dele has encroached, all waved away by VAR.
All the pathetic, sad Pundits and media outlets, who were reveling in us playing at Wembley and continuously using the phrase " Wembley Hoodoo" over and over again, are now crying that we have an unfair advantage of playing the semi-finals and final at Wembley.. You couldn't make it up.
