Look at Citys team yesterday, only player who played yesterday who wasn't at the club last season was Walker so that blows the summer spending excuse for Spurs out the window...
They finished way below Spurs and Chelsea with the same team who played yesterday near enough...
Just got to hold your hands up to Pep at the way he's got them playing...
Also our 2 best players Ali and Kane wouldn't get near the city team
Your goalie signed in the summer you wand.

Yeah city are amazing, let's all praise city, wtf!!!

Why don't you fuck off and celebrate your amazing team with other city fans? What do you want? Validation?

When spurs are doing well I give zero fucks what the media or other clubs fans think, likewise when we are playing shit.

Why don't you do like your name sake did and go and starve yourself in a cell covered in your own shit you fucking attention seeking cunt

Oooooh big hard inbred retard....
Gotta laugh at you spastic cunts
What's the point spending millions on a new stadium when you have got a shit team lol
Trying buying some fucking players you fucking
Brain dead moron

Inbred. The come back of every brain damaged football fan in the country.

Fuck off you little needle dick, go and lick some other bitter blues arses and get on with your monied up oil love in.

The media might be sucking your shriveled up dicks but some of us have long enough memories to know what a failing, bitter club you were for years.

Still demand praise and validation? Go and get laid you sad fucker

Fucking amateur hour, should call these franchise fans cellophane’s, you can see right through them. #CFG!

It's almost unbelievable.
He takes the trouble to register on the site of another club on a Sunday evening to take the piss, in his first post he shows he doesn't know the first thing about his own team, then because nobody sucks his cock he throws his toys out of the pram.
His attempt at “our” players was shambolic, total armature.

What is it with other teams fans going on other teams forums??? What do they expect????

New kind of desperate, I would not even entertain it.

A friend of mine (a Liverpool fan) registered on Red Cafe several years ago and would post generic comments every other day for about two years, until eventually posting in every thread ‘Gary Neville is a cunt’. To this day I don’t get why he didn’t just do it on a day one, or why he bothered at all.

It is Scotty old boy. Unless you can just pull out a bigger wad of cash than any of your “rivals”.
Identifying real class isn’t hard. Having the funds to tempt the player, his agent & the selling club is the difficult part. For most clubs, it’s identifying a talent & getting a deal across the line without having the rug pulled from under you. That is what makes signing quality more difficult for some clubs.
Hmmm I thought you agreed with the lot who were saying spending big on a player is no more likely to bring success than spending less.
But fair enough if you think spending big is more likely to bring success. On that I do agree.

In the predictions for the season you tipped us to win the title. How would that work if it's easy for teams like city to buy the title?
Were you expecting city to spend unwisely despite it being so easy?
Or did you think they would spend wisely but we would still out perform them?

It’s a fair point

A couple of subs by Poch around the hour mark could have turned this game

For those who have disagreed

Reasoning???

We had a spell just after half time where we pushed them back and a couple of subs by the hour could have made a difference but they came on too late whereas Pep did make a sub as he could see what might’ve happened

That said we were outplayed for long periods and it wasn’t a good performance although we had more of a go than ManUre playing two up front

The "home-grown talent" bit is just crazy...City Football Group is buying teams all over the world in an attempt to hoard top youth players, train them in accordance with whatever Man City is doing, and then sign them with Man City or sell them.

-New York City FC (USA)
-Melbourne City FC (Australia)
-Girona (Spain)
-Yokohama (Japan)
-Atletico Torque (Uruguay)

All under one owner. And they're planning on expanding more, their CEO has talked about negotiations with clubs in West Africa and China. No matter where talented players come from, Abu Dhabi will be there to sign them and train them at their Etihad Academies and Etihad Stadiums. Then they'll ship them off to whatever branch of City Football Group makes them the most profit. Today it's Manchester City. 20 years down the line, it might be New York City or Shanghai City.
To be fair, they're all in different continents, and are teams that, to be honest, won't be supplying City with any players anytime soon. To add a bit of balance ENIC had major stakes in 6 European teams at one stage.
