I think people just sometimes get carried away in a crowd & say things they shouldn't. What we can't do is be precious about racist abuse directed at us & defend our own abuse of others (be that pikey, or homophobic references to Judas, or the appalling Adebayor Chant for example) as banter or suggest it isn't racist/hate related when all the precedents suggest it bloody well is.

He seems to play better in a back 3 rather than a 4 although I think his best position is directly in front of Toby and Jan but I cd do a job in that position with those two behind me

To be fair it was pretty stupid standing there provoking them with that chant. When I came out the ground and walked past the club shop I went through the police lines without taking too much notice and straight into the middle of their firm with my 12 year old. They were all staring at me as we walked down the high road. You could sense the tension. I started to edge to the side where one of them stopped and spread his arm so they all stopped to let me and my boy out. Not a word was said. Just after it kicked off on the pavement right in front of me when one Spurs supporter was calling them out repeatedly. To sum it all up for me if you provoke them they retaliate, otherwise they left us alone. Just my personal experience...
