After the unbelievable strides we've made this year we can truly become a mainstay of the CL and silverware challengers with sound investment.
I don't expect to get all those. Ibe in particular would be difficult. Liverpool will be loathe to sell to us but Ibe isn't happy there. Umtiti and Lacazette very gettable if Ligue 1's fascinating race for 2nd isn't them.
They are all upgrades in regards to those being sold. Promote CCV and Onomah and we'll be strong. A proper CL strength squad.

Neither are Crouch, Keane, Pav, Defoe, Gomes, Kaboul, Jenas, Lennon and BAE. But they managed to get us to the quarter finals. *shrug*
If Poch, and indeed Leicester's run, has proved anything, it's not always about how good the individual player is. It's about how well he'll fit into Poch's system. This is where Mr. Mitchell will come in....
And that is why they primarily spend their time on the bench and haven't come close to challenging our starters. That is what the players I've named can provide. Umtiti and Lacazette are already on our radar by all accounts.
Some of those players you've named were undoubted CL quality also, and certainly better than Carroll, Mason and Chadli.

If you're content to see Mason or Carroll come on in a CLQF then fair enough. I believe there are gettable upgrades out there.
We need to be straight at it in terms of upgrades. No question at all and we have to get 2 strikers FFS.

Still deflated about last night so maybe that's affecting my judgment but yes if we want to go up a level then we need subs that can affect games significantly and more competition for places.
All depends on Poch I guess, when it comes down to it Mason and Carroll are loyal hard working players but are they top 4 CL quality, probably not.
We definitely need extra firepower, I still think out attacking balance could be improved, we certainly don't have any player like Lacazette as well as providing extra beef and midfield cover.
A lot of difficult choices to be made if we wish to see continued improvement.
dembele is very important to us. & when he is out we have no similar replacement.
so I like the idea of getting Roberto or someone else similar to dembele.
although there aren't too many around like him.
looking at our actually starting 11. it seems really harsh to drop any of them for an upgrade.

I think we 100% need 2 players who are good enough to play 1st team.
1 Striker who can play as a Lone Forward but also has the ability to play any of the attacking 3 positions. Basically an upgrade on N'Jie.
1) Lazcette 2) Batshuayi 3) Berehinio
A Central Midfielder who can play either of the deep Central Midfield Positions. That way we can rotate them with Dembele & Dier.
1) Schniederlin 2) Wittsell 3) Tielmans
If this is our squad going into next season I am confident we can challenge for the title again and compete in Europe and the Cups.

If a good deal on a Right sided CB comes a long take him and send Vickers out. If you can find a better back up keeper to Lloris take him and sell Vorm. If a good deal for an experienced version of Dier who can play CB & DM take him and you look to cash out on 2/3 of Mason, Bentaleb or Carroll.
