I'd love to have Welbeck at Spurs. I think he and his situation are quite comparable to Sturridge's situation two before is 'pool move. Both are technical skilled, fast strikers thus often played at the wing but not optimally suited to this position. Both want(-ed) to play as central strikers and are/were unhappy with that situation.
Welbeck has imo a better physical basis compared to Sturridge but his finishing needs improvement. I'm sure Poch could work with him well.
What I want to say: Welbeck is a risk like Sturridge was for Liverpool, but for 10-15m a quite cheap one imo.

Indifferent regards Welbeck. The only positive I can see is that it can not be denied the boy is a grafter. Therefore this sort of input effort on the pitch, just might become infectious?
