the stadium is also about an hour from the city, in a shit suburb.

I just don't think that it has captivated the younger generations as it did with the baby boomers and before.Has it really? I have wondered since moving here in 2010 as I see the draw in the other 2 of the big 3 sports, baseball is really weak in comparison, how has it fallen away? Certain demographics or geography?
I'm going to the Chicago game as well. I don't like Atlantic, but I'm going wherever there will be planned events.I'll be in Chicago. Great group there. Atlantic Bar festivities > the friendly
Awesome, thanks! Well, I guess I'm headed to the Atlantic that evening. Meeting the King would be a hell of a birthday present!http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/tour2014/news/tour-2014-dates-280514/
Here is all the info! See you in July
Around two and a half hours...Car load of us travelling down from Vancouver to Seattle, how long will it take?
Hoping to get down to Chicago for the match.
Im only a 2 hr drive north of Chicago, so it could be worse.Down to Chicago? Makes me shiver just reading that.
Very cool that you'll be there as well. Yeah, a few that you met there, and quite a few others if everyone who bought tickets actually make the trip.Any of the others I met in Lisbon going?
30 of us coming from Nashville Spurs. Also, buy your "pub to pitch" tickets for $10 round trip from the Atlantic to Toyota Park. And, yes, you can drink on the bus (just no glass).
There's not shit around Toyota Park, but there will be some serious tailgating going on. I plan to bring a twelver on the bus and drink on my way there and hang out with the tailgaters when I get there.
Has there been any press about what players will be on the roster for the tour?
F**** that I'm used to leaving the pub 15 minutes before KO. Need to find a decent bar to meet up in.The bus leaves for the park 3 hours before kickoff, do you know of any bars around the Toyota Park area we can go drink at? Or would there be some sort of Spurs tailgate?
