Conte is a great manager in the right head space. Problem is he will meltdown in the 2-3 season at a club, that isn’t a sustainable manager to build around despite his talent. He is basically a guy to grab an elite team of players by the balls, win a title then quit and fuck off.
I'm not so sure if it's unsustainable to build around him, even if he doesn't stick around for long.

Juventus rebuild their team around him and were able to continue their success even after he left. Same with Inter, they overhauled the entire squad when he was there and even after he left they only finished 2 points off first and made it to the CL final the season after that (Juve also made it to a CL final a couple seasons after he left).

Building a team with him in charge isn't really that bad, even if he isn't committed in the long term.

How do we play without him ?
Not sure you would get many like for like replacements but Hopefully come December bentacaur can start looking like he did pre injury last season and then at least we got another option and don’t have to rely on Skipp or Hjojberg - no disrespect to them 2 it’s just they don’t offer what the former do!

Thought he was great vs 11,

Looked a bit unsure when there wasn’t a press to play through.

I doubt the coaches have even had a chance to build on our game vs 9men in training situations yet.

What a tackle that was on Salah
Teams never train for a game vs. 9. It just comes down to the manager and the players making it up in real time.

If a club is built to “win now”, it will be competitive after he inevitably fucks off.

We only have two players (VDV and Vicario) in the starting 11 that weren’t already under contract when we told Conte to GTFO.
