Absolute madness if this turns out to be accurate. You cannot trust anything the club says about injuries. Just wait till Kane isn't back after the Madrid or Palace game...

Ill ask too...... Source?

Could do without this turning out to be another shitfest of unsubstantiated rumours a la Lamella.....

It was on Sunday Supplement.

Considering our diagnoses' are usually shambolic, I'm not surprised but disappointed that a "slight knock" could mean out for the season.

Don't believe club have said slight knock, as far as I can remember it's been communicated as a problem with his cartilage. Now that wasn't specific what the problem is, but a footballer with cartilage problem usually means it's a small keyhole surgery to trim it. You can play within a couple of days (I've had it done). Now that said, Ledley and I think Kabul(??) had cartilage issues (he basically didn't have any cartilage left in his knee, leaving bone on bone), so clearly it's not a "normal" problem to his cartilage.

Whilst injuries are hugely frustrating, especially given the info coming out of the club is either misleading or different when first announced, we are not the only ones. I suspect that the injuries that are picked up may effect the value of the player (Charlie Austin anyone!!).

Get the fuck in big boy!
Still might mean you are a few weeks/months?? off, who the fuck knows, but if your "touching grass" (love Poch words) then that means you've seen the specialist and your not going under the knife.

we need the other boys to continue to deputise in the sterling way they have to date, it's can't have been easy with huge expectations on their shoulders. Hopefully after the international break and xmas run-in we'll be looking stronger as others start to falter.

No brace, has his knee bent 90 degrees. He’s not hobbling about on crutches. Got to at least not be as serious as ACL tear.
I love Big Vic and I hope it's not his ACL, but a kid on my son's team tore his ACL and after a few days was able to walk (albeit with a little bit of a limp) until he had it fixed a few weeks ago.
